Originally built in 1821 by the Temple Family who continued to own the property for around 200 years, the The Bishopstrow Hotel 4* is steeped in history.  The house was recorded in the Domesday Book as far back as 1086, when it was owned by Edward of Salisbury. After being destroyed by a fire in 1817, Bishopstrow House as it stands today was built in the early 19th Century.

In modern day, the Bishopstrow Hotel is a haven of tranquility, located within its own 27 acres of established grounds alongside the River Wylye.  Ideal for short family breaks or for those wishing to have a peaceful and relaxing time away, this idyllic escape has something to offer everyone.

This English country house in the beautiful Wylye Valley has a luxurious spa and 2 AA Rosette dining, all just a 10-minute journey from Longleat House and Safari Park.
