Lea Marston Hotel 4* - Sanitary & Health Measures

The hotel has introduced the following measures as a result of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic:

Check-In

  • Queues will be minimal and fast-moving due to pre-arrival procedures
  • Where small queues do form, there will be clear physical distancing measures in place
  • Perspex screens will be added to reception desks to protect staff and guests in locations where direct face to face interaction is unavoidable
  • The hotel will be operating a contactless check-in/check-out service and will be encouraging visitors to pre-pay to reduce interactions

 

Hygiene

  • All appropriate areas will be disinfected with anti-bacterial chemicals on a regular basis
  • High use areas, confined spaces and key touchpoints will receive increased levels of cleaning at more regular intervals
  • Antibacterial handwash stations will be available at key points throughout the hotel
  • Guest bedrooms will be completely sanitised after each stay and additional cleaning will be in place for high contact surfaces
  • Visual reminders will be in place to encourage frequent hand washing using soap and water or antibacterial handwash where soap and water is not available when entering the building and after coughing, sneezing or using the bathrooms

 

Safe Distancing

  • One-way systems directing guests and clear social distancing markings will be introduced in public areas
  • All guests will be advised on the need to practice social distancing from other guests and team members during their stay. There will be visual reminders of this throughout the hotel
  • Lifts should only be occupied by guests staying in the same room at any one time. Disinfectant and wipes will be available to clean elevator buttons between uses
  • Where possible, the hotel will introduce one-way systems, and staff will be required to wear face masks in public areas
  • PPE will be put in places where safe distancing is not practicable
  • The capacity in all areas of the hotel will be limited to ensure a safe environment

 

Food and Drink

  • The hotel is currently offering a limited menu between 6 pm - 9 pm Monday to Friday and 11 am - 9 pm on Saturday and Sunday
  • Sandwiches are available 24 hours per day
  • The hotel's bar is open from 10 am - 10 pm
  • Breakfast services may be limited - the hotel is currently operating a grab and go breakfast

 

Leisure Club, Spa & Golf

  • The leisure club remains closed for now due to social distancing requirements. This includes the swimming pool, sauna, steam room and gym. This will be reviewed in line with Government guidelines
  • The golf course reopened on May 19th 2020. The driving range, lakes golf course and par 3 course are all open to members and guests with the introduction of social distancing
