Your Destination —
Port Appin is a pretty, tranquil village that sits perfectly nestled on a secluded peninsula between Oban and Ballachulish. Port Appin is well-regarded as one of the region's most picturesque spots, thanks to the fact that it overlooks a host of tiny little islands dotted around Loch Linnhe.
It is also home to one of Scotland’s most romantic ruined castles. The Castle Stalker is undoubtedly the area's highlight, as it occupies a tiny rock island to the north of the village - the perfect spot to visit for a tranquil day trip!
