Nearby, experience the Carr Mill Dam, the largest inland body of water in Merseyside that is at least four hundred years old. This pond once powered a mill, but today is a haven for water sports enthusiasts. On the lake's north side, enjoy the scenery of the Nineteen Arches Bridge and on the east shore a lovely café can be found.
