One of the most exclusive areas in Britain, the Dorset coast, and particularly Poole and Sandbanks, is a millionaire's enclave, home to yachts, mansions, and numerous upmarket restaurants and shops.
The Plantation is conveniently located close to the village of Canford Cliffs, within the Poole conservation area and just a short drive from Bournemouth. On the nearby beach you’ll see some of the oldest beach huts in Europe, dating back to 1927.
Also nearby are the world famous Sandbanks and Branksome Chine blue flag beaches and you're really close to the famous Compton Acres which has some of the most beautiful gardens in Europe.
With the largest natural harbour in Europe on your doorstep and the beautiful New Forest only 30 minutes’ drive away, The Plantation is located in a fantastic place to visit.

The colonial influences don’t stop at the evocative interior décor - there are also hints in ingredients and dishes throughout The Plantation’s ever-changing menu, carefully crafted using local produce by head chef, Darren Beevers.
With experience at Michelin-starred restaurants, from the Capital Hotel and Club Gascon, in London, Darren creates outstanding seasonal dishes including glazed ox cheek, star anise and black pudding, and passion fruit and coconut sorbet.
To accompany your meal, the restaurant and bar serve a range of fine traditional real ales, including those from their own brewery, and a hand-selected list of fine wines.

The Plantation is conveniently situated between Bournemouth and Poole, near the village of Canford Cliffs Chine.
It is easy to find from the main A35 that links Bournemouth and Poole. From there, follow Canford Cliffs Road then turn left into Haven Road, then right onto Cliff Drive.
