The Hy Hotel at St Anne's is taking additional precautionary measures to ensure the health and safety of all our members, clients, colleagues and self-employed personal trainers.
In response to Coronavirus (COVID-19), we may request additional documentation from guests to validate identity, travel itinerary and other relevant information. We are closely monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and following the advice provided by Public Health England (PHE). In addition, we are working closely with other gym operators in the UK.
The Hy Hotel is committed to providing members with a safe and hygienic space and we are taking this situation extremely seriously. The team have been extensively briefed on what actions they need to take, as per Government guidance, to reduce the risk of the virus spreading.
We have increased the frequency of cleaning such as all public areas, gym equipment and changing rooms and have increased the deployment of hand sanitisers throughout the whole club. We will also adjust the food and beverage service in accordance with current food safety recommendations.
We would also recommend that everyone linked to the Hotel i.e. staff, members and guests are extra vigilant in terms of handwashing and personal hygiene while keeping themselves updated on the latest PHE guidelines and advice. We would also ask any members who believe they may be displaying symptoms of coronavirus not to attend the club until they have been given the all-clear by their doctor. It is still important to remind members of the health benefits of exercise, even and especially during times of stress, anxiety and worry.
