Melville Castle is an 18th century country house hotel nestled within 50 acres of beautiful woodland estate on the outskirts of Edinburgh, only 20 minutes from the city centre and Edinburgh Airport.

Guests are invited to enjoy the tranquil comfort and luxury of this historic castle including 32 comfortable bedrooms, Brasserie restaurant & cellar bar, various local country pursuits and activities such as clay shooting, golfing, horse riding and falconry, and many fascinating local attractions of Midlothian and Edinburgh.

Guests will be served a daily Full Scottish Breakfast. Enjoy meals in the hotel's superb Brasserie restaurant, where the Head Chef serves up stunning cuisine, you can also enjoy blissful Afternoon Tea. Unwind with drinks and refreshments in the Cellar Bar - both offering quaint Scottish charm and a warm, relaxing atmosphere.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Transfers are not included in this offer. Distance/time between Edinburgh Airport and Castle is approximately 14 miles/13.5 miles.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
