4 Day/3 Night Self Drive Scotland Tour
Welcome to Scotland! After you pick up your car, drive to Perthshire. Cross the Queensferry Crossing with its spectacular views of the Firth of Forth. Time permitting, visit St Andrews, named after Scotland's patron saint. St Andrews is the famous home of golf, played on the Old Course since the 15th century.
Overnight stay in the Perthshire area (Bed & Full Scottish Breakfast).
Day 2: Perthshire to Glasgow
On your way you can visit Stirling Castle, one of the most beautiful castles in Scotland situated upon a volcanic plug with a wonderful view over Stirlingshire, or you may choose to visit Bannockburn – a new, interactive visitor centre depicting one of the most important battles in Scottish history – or the Wallace Monument, commemorating William Wallace, which is very famous from the Braveheart film.
Overnight stay in the Glasgow area (Bed & Full Scottish Breakfast).
Day 3: Glasgow to Edinburgh
Welcome to Edinburgh! Spend the day soaking up the atmosphere of this exciting city. Visit some of its many attractions such as famous Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile and the Palace of Holyrood house, the Royal Family’s official residence in Scotland.

6 Day/5 Night Self Drive Scotland Tour

Travel north to the Inverness area. You can visit Cawdor Castle and its beautiful gardens or drive south via Aviemore where you can explore the impressive Cairngorm Mountains located in the Cairngorm National Park. Then you can choose to drive via Loch Ness.

Day 3: Fort William - Isle of Skye
On your way to Fort William you may choose to stop at Urquhart Castle, which is magnificently situated on the banks of Loch Ness. If you dare, take a cruise on Loch Ness, most famous for the elusive monster! Time permitting, take a ferry from Mallaig to the Isle of Skye or continue via Loch Lochy to Kyle of Lochalsh and take the bridge to the Isle of Skye, the largest and most scenic of the Hebridean Islands.

Day 2: Stirling - Loch Lomond - Oban
This morning leave Stirling and drive towards the west coast via Loch Lomond, the largest lake in the whole of Great Britain and known for the tranquil beauty of its wooded shores and islands. Continue North West along Loch Fyne and its beautiful landscape. Pass by Inveraray Castle and the charming homeland of the Duke of Argyll, the head of the Campbell Clan on your way to Oban. The castle testifies to the power and wealth of the Campbells, one of the most powerful of the Highland Clans. Or you can choose to travel via the rugged landscape of Rannoch Moor and Glencoe, one of the most scenic valleys in Scotland.

Day 3: Fort William - Isle of Skye
This morning drive north and take a ferry from Mallaig to the Isle of Skye or continue via Loch Lochy to Kyle of Lochalsh and take the bridge to the Isle of Skye, the largest and most scenic of the Hebridean Islands.
Overnight stay in the Isle of Skye (Bed & Full Scottish Breakfast).
Day 4: Loch Ness - Inverness
Travel east today for Eilean Donan Castle, one of the most iconic images of Scotland. Continue for the Inverness area via Loch Ness. You may choose to stop at Urquhart Castle, which is magnificently situated on the banks of Loch Ness. If you dare, take a cruise on Loch Ness, most famous for the elusive monster!
Overnight stay in the Inverness area (Bed & Full Scottish Breakfast).
This morning drive east of Inverness where you can visit Cawdor Castle and its beautiful gardens or drive south via Aviemore where you can explore the impressive Cairngorm Mountains located in the Cairngorm National Park. Continue to Pitlochry where you may choose to visit the smallest distillery in Scotland, the Edradour Whisky Distillery. Why not stroll through the Victorian village before travelling south towards Perth.

Day 6: St Andrews – Fife - Edinburgh
Today, visit St Andrews, named after Scotland's patron saint. St Andrews is the famous home of golf, played on the Old Course since the 15th century. Continue along the coast via the small fishing villages of Elie and Pittenweem. Cross the Queensferry Crossing with its spectacular views of the Firth of Forth. Return your hire car at Edinburgh Airport, and transfer to your hotel.

Important Information
- Deposit - Credit Card (CDW Excess & Petrol deposit).
- Credit card at commencement of rental is mandatory – to cover all toll fees, speed cameras, parking offenses, etc. Credit Card must be in driver’s name
- Minimum age - 23 years. Drivers aged 23 or 24 may rent (Groups B, c & E only. A young driver surcharge of £36.00 per day will be applicable to drivers aged 23 & 24 years including tax, maximum charge per rental £360.00).
- Maximum age - 79 years. Clients aged 76–79 years must have additional documentation from their insurer and doctor (must provide a statement of good health from GP, must provide a statement from insurance company stating client has not been in an accident in the last 5 years, that they hold a current policy of motor insurance with them and that they are driving on a regular basis.
- Driver’s license - Must hold a current national license valid for at least 1 year or more at time of rental.
- Provisional / learner drivers or seriously endorsed license holders are not eligible to rent a car e.g. drink driving disqualification.
- Non-waivable excess - £ 1,200.00, for groups B, C, D, E, F and I; £ 1,800.00 for groups G and M.
- Fuel - 10% refueling charge applies if vehicle is not returned with a full tank.
- Traffic fines are charged directly to the client, an additional admin fee of GBP 42.00 will be applied on top of any fine by Hertz. (E.g. Parking or Speeding Tickets)
- Billing - Applicable rate on the date of pick-up will be the applied for the entire rental period.
- We cannot be held responsible for any upgrade charges or damage to vehicles under rental. Please ensure clients understand what is included and what is not included prior to travel.
Please note that the supplier won't be able to process any booking unless they have the flight details and at least 1 name per room 5 days prior to the check in. They will not book the car rental if they're missing the flight details or the accommodation if they're missing one name per room if we do not have it on time. For bookings of more than 1 room, unless the member states otherwise the supplier will book 1 car per room. If guests would like 1 car per booking, this needs to be requested via our customer service team.
Please note that for any name change the supplier needs at least 10 days notice and it will have a minimum extra charge of 50€. Any other modifications/cancellations will be 100% cost.
