Start your day with a spot of boutique shopping in Multrees Walk, before visiting the former medieval market square at the Grassmarket, which also offers splendid views of the Edinburgh Castle. The castle itself is a grand monument, perched on an extinct volcano. Leave this monument for an afternoon visit, when you can admire the sunset over the city. Afterwards, head to the West End for chic restaurants and bars - you might even get there in time for a show at the Edinburgh Playhouse!

The brand-new Abbey Strand Apartments at Holyrood are located within the walls of a historic, city-centre building, on the doorstep of the Palace of Holyroodhouse. Formerly a courtier's house, and dating back 500 years, this charming building is jam-packed with contemporary furnishings and designer highlights, creating a perfect fusion of old and new.

From Medieval fireplaces and spiral staircases to Bose sound systems and Nespresso coffee machines, these apartments cater to guests in search of both ancient charm and modern convenience.

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.The minimum age for driving a hire car in the UK is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year. 

If you don't have a driver's license for the country you are travelling in, you will need either a European or international driving license.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.
