Interiors are contemporary yet cosy, with a touch of Scandi-chic in the wood burning stoves, light wood furniture and tactile soft furnishings.
Clearly proud of its spectacular location, snippets of local history are scattered throughout the hotel, such as race hats and horse heads nodding towards Cheltenham, and vintage factory wool reels hinting at the region’s fabric trade.
The restaurant and bar are a delight too - the chef sources seasonal ingredients to create fresh and flavourful dishes which are hearty yet elegant. Well-prepared for British weather, there are cosy blankets available in the bar and guest are encouraged to enjoy the glorious sunset, with a bottle of wine, in any season!
As well as an outdoor tennis court and a gym on site, there is a dedicated activity team who can arrange any number of diversions and distractions to keep you entertained during your stay.

The Fish is laid out ‘village style’ and rooms and suites are located in a number of different buildings. The Standard double rooms are spread between The Outhouse, The Farmhouse and Brook House.
Each Standard bedroom is cosily decorated with calming neutrals and crisp linens for a light bright and airy feel.
Touches of luxury include Orla Kiely toiletries, fluffy bathrobes and free WiFi.

Offering "the Cotswolds on a plate", the restaurant in an elegant yet laid-back spot where guest can enjoy fine, seasonal British food surrounded by woodland views. The unique ‘gastro buffet’ serves daily specials, and there is also a fresh salad bar and home-made soup with artisan bread.
Match your meal with a sommelier-selected wine or a guest craft ale from one of the local breweries.
Every day at 2.30pm, the bar lounge at the Lodge serves a classic British afternoon tea.
Centred around a remarkable 360º fireplace the bar (and its adjacent games room) is the lively heart of the hotel. The Bar Menu serves hearty gastro pub classics such as burgers of juicy Devon and Cornwall beef with Gloucester cheddar, monkfish scampi with lemon mayonnaise, and an exceptional ploughman’s.

The Games Room in the Lodge makes a great rainy-day destination or evening entertainment hub, inviting guests to shoot pool, play darts or just lounge on a beanbag and watch a film – with the bar next door on hand to keep the drinks and snacks coming!

From the north
If you’re coming from Birmingham way, exit the M5 at junction 6 and follow the A4538 towards Evesham. After two miles, turn onto the A44 southbound (signposted Evesham). After 10 miles, the A44 joins the A46 to bypass Evesham. Rejoin the A44 (Broadway Road) at the second roundabout (first exit, signposted Broadway), and follow the road beyond Broadway for around six miles. When you reach Fish Hill (the road will bend sharply left), look out for the entrance to Farncombe coming up on the left. Turn onto the estate road, and follow it, taking the left fork, until you reach The Fish.
From the south
If you’re up from that London, junction 8 on the M40 will put you onto the A40 towards Oxford and Cheltenham. Head past Oxford towards Woodstock and Evesham, and at the Headington roundabout take the third exit onto the North Way, then the fourth exit at Wolvercote roundabout onto the A44 (signposted Woodstock). The A44 will take you through Woodstock and Chipping Norton. When you reach Moreton-in-Marsh, turn left at the mini-roundabout onto Moreton High Street, then right onto the A44 at the next roundabout, following signs to Evesham and Broadway. After about seven miles, you’ll pass the turn-off for Broadway Tower on the left – the entrance to Farncombe is half a mile further on the right. Follow the road up, then take the left fork to The Fish.
Moreton-in-Marsh station is about 15 minutes’ drive from us. The station’s on the mainline from London Paddington (around an hour and a half’s journey on First Great Western).
