Hidden away in thirteen acres of gardens and woodland at the heart of Cornwall lies an oasis of serenity: a unique collection of luxury self-catering holiday cottages that offer the perfect escape at any time of the year.

 

The Valley 5* is in a tranquil rural location, only a few miles from the city of Truro and the bustling port town of Falmouth. It provides the ideal base to explore the best of Cornwall. Heritage sites, outdoor activities, and stunning beaches can all be found within a 30-minute drive.

Distance from Newquay Airport to The Valley: 37.5 km / 40 minutes.

Distance from Perranwell Train Station to The Valley: 2.7 km / 5 minutes.

Directions to your hotel:   From the A30 from Exeter, leaving the M5 where it is signposted to Okehampton. Follow the signs to Redruth and Penzance until you reach the Carland Cross roundabout. Then, follow the sign to Truro A39/A3076. From Truro take the A39 to Falmouth and after approximately 2 miles you'll come to a double roundabout at Playing Place, with a large garage on the left. Go straight across both of these roundabouts and at the next roundabout turn right towards Carnon Downs. At Carnon Downs turn right onto the Bissoe road following 'The Valley' signs. The hotel is approximately 3/4 mile on the right.

Villa Beacon/Haven/Villa Gallery

The Beacon

A detached two-bedroom cottage, with open plan spacious ground floor living, The Beacon is a great space for relaxing with loved ones. The master bedroom has a bathroom and private balcony, while the twin room has an ensuite shower.

 

The Haven

A spacious two bedroom home-from-home the Haven has one room with twin beds and a vaulted master bedroom with an emperor-size bed for maximum comfort. The large open-plan living area leads out to a dining area with a patio.

 

The Villa Gallery

These two-bed cottages take the form of stylish townhouses, with a mezzanine kitchen and living area overlooking the sitting room below. Each has a balcony, many of which have views over the outdoor pool. Sleep soundly in the super-king bed in the master bedroom, or in one of the twin beds in the second bedroom.

 

Seven of the Villa Galleries are dog-friendly - please opt for a Pet Gallery Room to procure one of these.

There is both a heated outdoor pool and an indoor swimming pool at The Valley 5*, exclusive to guests. When the sun is shining, relax on the loungers around the outside pool and experience the tranquillity of The Valley.

 

The five-star facilities also include a fitness room and spa pool, to soothe tired muscles after an energising workout. Tennis and squash courts form part of the facilities at The Valley 5*, with all equipment including balls and rackets exclusive for guest use. A professional tennis coach is on call to add that extra edge to your game.

Falmouth —

With miles of stunning coastline, rolling moorland, protected heathland, enough beaches to visit one every day of the year, an exciting art scene and World Heritage Sites, Cornwall both on and off the water has endless possibilities for everyone who visits. Enjoy stunning gardens, beach walks, heritage attractions, golf and, for those who fancy something a little more active, plenty of outdoor or water-based activities.

 

The lovely harbour town of Falmouth is the ideal spot for a sunny break away from reality. During the day you can visit the waterfront villages up and down the estuary aboard one of the many ferries that leave from the harbour and when the sun goes down join locals and visitors alike who head for the lively seafood restaurants, bistros and wine bars.
