The Fleece Cirencester 5* welcomes you with cosy, quaint interiors and an inviting atmosphere. The hotel sits in the market town of Cirencester, just an hour from Bath and Oxford.

 

The Grade II listed building's history stretches back to 1651 and now combines modern comforts with its classic character. Each of the 28 rooms offer a comfortable and stylish retreat for guests to unwind in.

 

Four-legged friends are welcome at the hotel with pet-friendly rooms available to book. The hotel also boasts a restaurant featuring feel-good dishes made with locally sourced ingredients.

There are different dining areas in the hotel that guests can enjoy, from comfy seating spots to areas in front of big windows. Take a seat out in the courtyard area and enjoy a moment of quiet. Make sure to head out and explore your wonderful surroundings, as this local area offers much to do and see. Wander the charming streets and stumble upon gems such as the Cirencester Amphitheatre and Abbey Grounds.

Dubbed ‘the capital of The Cotswolds', Cirencester is home to a charming market town square with plenty of lovely surrounding villages and historical sights to explore. Escape to the countryside villages and rolling hills of the Cotswolds and enjoy getting back to nature. 

 

Back in Cirencester you could head to the Amphitheatre and visit the remains of one of the largest Roman amphitheatres in Britain! Venture to the remains of St Mary’s Abbey at the Abbey Grounds which makes the perfect summer walking spot with its large green space. The Cotswold Water Park is also close by where visitors can embark on an activity or simply appreciate the enchanting natural scenes here.

 

Picturesque Bourton-on-the-Water is also not to be missed with its low bridges, charming tea rooms and traditional stone houses. Other places to visit during your time here include the Cirencester Golf Club, Corinium Museum, Westonbirt Arboretum and the captivating village of Bilbury.
