Located in the picturesque village of Castle Combe, the Manor House Hotel is set in a sanctuary of tranquillity far from the hustle and bustle of city life. The historic City of Bath is nearby.

For those who wish to venture out of the vast grounds of the Manor House there is an abundance of local attractions to keep you entertained. With Bath, Bristol, The Cotswolds, Wiltshire, Somerset and other South West gems all within easy reach, the Manor House is your ideal country house retreat.

Besides being one of England's most scenic regions, The Cotswolds offer a wealth of attractions for visitors to the area. Must see sites in the region include Lacock Abbey, Westonbirt Arboretum, Longleat, Dryham Park and the Roman Baths.

Hotel Description —

The Manor House Hotel is a 14th-century building set in 365 acres of secluded parkland, with an 18-hole golf course, luxurious bedrooms and a Michelin Star award-winning Restaurant. The hotel boasts a battalion of friendly staff and many unique touches that turn a simple break into a serious treat.

The Manor House Hotel offers a plethora of things for active guests from motor racing at Castle Combe, tennis, croquet to duck herding, wine tasting and fishing.

The Manor House Golf Club now has a course at a length of 6500 yards and is one of the most spectacular and challenging 18-hole par 72 golf courses in the South of England. Golfers are now able to tackle a thoughtfully lengthened course bringing many new features into play and creating a challenging championship course that is ready to host a professional event.

Bybrook Restaurant - Enjoy award winning Michelin Star fine dining at the Bybrook Restaurant. Chef Richard Davies who has worked with the likes of Gordon Ramsay and previously achieved Michelin Star status, has built a superb team and developed imaginative menus set to place The Manor House firmly on the finest of dining maps.

Richard’s cooking is based on Modern British dishes nestling happily alongside traditional favourites and his use of local boutique suppliers and their seasonal produce, highly influences what can only be described as the perfect adult foodie experience.

The Bybrook Restaurant wine list has reached the final round of the AA Wine Award for the second year running. Chosen from over 1000 wine lists based on the overall quality of its wine selection and presentation.

Full Glass Bar - With a dash of silver screen glamour, it's difficult not to imagine yourself as Sinatra or Monroe as you walk into the seductive oak panelled bar, with dramatic views and polished personality. It's even more difficult not to order a classic cocktail from the solid wood, chrome and mirrored bar before you take a seat in large sink in sofas and leather comfy chairs. Indeed it's where Margaret Thatcher sat and wrote her memoirs! A truly mesmerising English encounter leaving you pleasantly shaken and emotionally stirred.

The hotel has also recently been bestowed with a Tea Guild Award of Excellence, which ensures your afternoon tea will be of the highest quality.

Please note: Children under the age of 11 are not permitted to dine in the Bybrook restaurant in the evening. A nanny service can be recommended. Additional charges apply and advanced booking is essential.

At Malmesbury Road roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A350 (signposted Warminster, Bath). At Badger roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A350 (signposted Poole, Warminster). At Brook roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A350 (signposted Poole, Warminster). At Bumpers Farm roundabout take the 4th exit onto Bristol Road - A420 (signposted Bristol).
