St Lucia —
St Lucia is an island nation in the eastern Caribbean, with two tapering mountains, the Pitons, on its west coast. Along the coast are volcanic beaches, coral reef diving sites, luxury resorts and pretty traditional fishing villages. Trails through the interior rainforest lead to beautiful waterfalls, such as the 15-meter-high Toraille, which plunges off a cliff into a beautiful garden. The capital, Castries, is a popular cruise port and well worth a visit.
