Visit their ancient sites and marvel over their legendary temples, or see the sacred home of the world’s oldest living tree, Anuradhapura. Take a safari tour in one of Sri Lanka’s national parks to encounter elephants, leopards, water buffaloes, and exotic birds, or spend the day relaxing on the dazzlingly white, often untrodden, beaches. Your Itinerary —
Day 01: AIRPORT / COLOMBO (Approx Transfer time: 40 - 50 Minutes)
Arrival at Colombo International Airport on flight. Here, you will be met by a professional Chauffeur and Guide.
After the formalities at the airport you will be escorted to your air conditioned vehicle.
Next, transfer to your hotel in Colombo and check-in to hotel.
(STANDARD CHECK-IN AT 1200HRS. EARLY CHECK-IN IS SUBJECT TO AVIALBILITY ON DAY OF ARRIVAL)
Explore the commercial city of Colombo, Sri Lanka’s commercial capital and the largest city with the highest population, Colombo is situated in the Western Province. It is a fascinating town which has a blend of eastern and western cultures where all colors of the island are drawn together. Many visitors appreciate the city’s colonial heritage and enjoy the vast range of fine shopping and dining outlets that can be located within the rush of its urban buzz.

Day 02: COLOMBO / PINNAWALA / KANDY
After breakfast proceed to Pinnawala and visit the Pinnawala Elephant orphanage (Approx Transfer time: 2 - 2 ½ HRS)
Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is the home for young Elephants who have been displaced or lost from their natural habitat, located at Pinnawala village in Sabaragamuwa province of Sri Lanka. Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage is the best place for an up close and personal experience with the world’s largest land mammals! Today with 70 elephants herein, Pinnawela has become the home to the largest captive group of elephants in the world. Feeding time at 0915/1315 HRS
Thereafter to royal city of Kandy (Approx Transfer time: 1 ½ - 2 HRS)
Kandy is a lovely city, the Hill Capital and last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings retains an aura of grandeur, which time has not affected. Encircled by hills, with a tranquil lake in its center, it is the site of the renowned "Temple of the Tooth". Kandy and its satellite villages is the center of the island’s handicraft industry and its traditional dances are the most spectacular in the country.
Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhalese kings and is a UNESCO world heritage site partly due to the temple.
Check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 03: KANDY / PERADENIYA / KANDY
After breakfast leave for the Royal Botanical Gardens in Peradeniya (Approx Transfer time: 30 -40 MINS)
This was originally the King’s own royal pleasure garden that was later converted in to a botanic garden and opened to the public. At the Royal Botanical Gardens at ‘Peradeniya’ you could treat your eyes to an amazing, wide and rare collection of tropical and temperate, exotic and indigenous flora, and an orchid house with the largest collection in Asia.
On completion do a city tour of Kandy and you will also have the time to do some shopping in Kandy, where you could fetch souvenirs in wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony, bronze, ceramics, lacquer work, handlooms, batiks, jewelry and reed-ware at bargain prices!!
Late afternoon, make a visit to The Temple of the Tooth Relic is located in the royal palace complex which houses the Relic of the tooth of Buddha.
If time permits after that witness a Cultural Dance performance in the evening. These classical dance forms are associated with the performance of various rituals and ceremonies which are centuries old and are based on the folk religion and folk beliefs going back to times before the advent and acceptance of Buddhism by the Sinhalese people in the third century B.C.
Return to the Hotel.

Day 04: KANDY / MATALE / DAMBULLA
After breakfast leave for Dambulla en route visit Spice Gardens in Matale. (Approx. Transfer time: 1 – 1 ½ HRS)
Matale is famous for its batik production and spice gardens. Batik has been an ancient art of painting cloth and today Sri Lanka is among the world leaders in the design of batik. Batik galleries and factories offer batik from simple single-colored designs to intricate multi-colored masterpieces. For centuries, spices have been one of Sri Lanka's celebrated exports. Spices are mostly grown in home gardens (as a home industry) and used not only to flavor food but also for medicine and cosmetics
On completion continue to Dambulla and visit Rock cave Temple. (Approx. Transfer time: 1 ½ - 2 HRS)
A vast isolated rock mass- it was here that king Valagambahu took refuge in the 01st century B.C. He later turned the caves into a rock temple. Dambulla is a world heritage site and is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceiling found here are over 2000 years old and is the largest area of painting found in the world. The caves contain over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 meters.
On completion check into hotel and relax.

Day 05: DAMBULLA / SIGIRIYA / MINNERIYA / DAMBULLA
After breakfast at hotel proceed to Sigiriya Rock Fortress. (Travel Time Approx: 30 - 45 MINS)
Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is known as the 8th wonder of the world. This rock fortress was built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D. and was a royal citadel for more than 18 years. In a sheltered a pocket, approached by a spiral stairway, are the famous frescoes. The summit of the rock, with an area of nearly one hectare was the site of the palace and the outer wall was built on the very brink of the precipice. The UNESCO sponsored Central Cultural Fund has restored Sigiriya 5th century water gardens to their former glory.
Thereafter proceed to Minneriya National Park and proceed on a Jeep Safari. (Approx Transfer time: 1- 1 ½ HRS)
Minneriya National Park located between Habarana and Polonnaruwa is the 8890 hectares of Minneriya National Park which is an ideal eco-tourism location in Sri Lanka. The park consists of mixed evergreen forest and scrub areas and is home to Sri Lanka's favorites such as sambar deer, leopards and elephants. However the central feature of the park is the ancient Minneriya Tank (built in 3rd century AD by King Mahasena). This tank is generally known as a place to observe the elephants that come to bathe and graze on the grasses as well as the huge flocks of birds that come to fish in the shallow waters.
On completion return to hotel.

Day 06: DAMBULLA / POLONNARUWA / PASIKUDAH
After an early breakfast Proceed to Polonnaruwa (Approx. Travel time: 1 ½ - 2 HRS)
Polonnaruwa the architect of this lovely city is known to be King ParakramaBahu - The Great. The remains of the Royal Citadel council chamber, prince’s bathing pool and the Gal Vihare, a stone temple with its colossal sculptures of the Buddha in a quiet grove of trees as well as the still functioning ParakramaSamudra, a man made reservoir, larger than our Colombo harbor, are on easy distance from each other. The new museum has an excellent scale model of the ancient city as it was.
On completion proceed to your beach stay in Pasikudah. (Approx. Travel time: 1 ½ - 2 HRS)

Day 07 - 10 or 12: PASIKUDAH
Enjoy All Inclusive facilities at hotel, spend rest of the day at leisure by beach or taking the advantages of the other facilities of the hotel.
The undisturbed, pristine coastline, with golden sands and clear blue waters form the beautiful region of Passikudah(Pasikuda). Google Maps calls it one the prettiest beaches in the world.

Negombo is a characteristic fishing town north of Colombo and is a mere 15 km from the international airport. Set amidst lush groves of coconut palms, it breathes the spirit of the sea.
