Day 1-2: Arrival in Colombo - Dambulla - Anuradhapura - Dambulla
Day 1: Arrival in Colombo - Dambulla
Upon your arrival at Colombo International airport, you will be warmly welcomed by one of the representatives. Then you will be transferred to the hotel through an air-conditioned vehicle (Approximate travel time from Airport to Dambulla – 4-5 Hrs)
Please note: Standard check-in time is at 2pm - early check-in is subject to availability on the day of arrival.

Day 2 : Dambulla - Anuradhapura - Dambulla
Today after breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura (Approximate travel time from Dambulla to Anuradhapura– 1 ½ Hrs to 2 Hrs).
Visit the ruins of the first capital founded in the 05th century BC. Here is found the largest number of ancient monuments of a great civilization. Buddhism found its first real home in Sri Lanka at Anuradhapura, and it thus contains some of Sri Lankan Buddhism’s most secret sights. Return to the hotel and at leisure enjoy facilities such as the swimming pool, spa or other recreational activities.

Day 3: Dambulla - Polonnaruwa - Kaudulla National Park - Dambulla

Today after breakfast proceed to Polonnaruwa (Approximate travel time from Dambulla to Polonnaruwa – 1Hrs – 1 ½ Hrs). The architect of this lovely city is known to be King Parakrama Bahu - The Great. The remains of the Royal Citadel council chamber, prince’s bathing pool and the Gal Vihare, a stone temple with its colossal sculptures of the Buddha in a quiet grove of trees as well as the still functioning Parakrama Samudra, a man made reservoir, larger than our Colombo harbor, are on easy distance from each other. The new museum has an excellent scale model of the ancient city as it was.
On completion proceed to Kaudulla National Park for an exciting safari (Approximate travel time from Polonnaruwa to Kaudulla National Park – 01 Hrs – 01 ½ Hrs).
Kaudulla National Park
This is Sri Lanka's newest national park, wildlife reserve and eco tourism attraction. Situated around the ancient Kaudulla tank, the national park provides a 6656 hectare elephant corridor, only 6 km from off the main Habarana - Trincomalee road. With fantastic opportunities to see many elephants at close range, the park has become a popular destination for wildlife safaris that also take in leopards, sambar deer and the occasional sloth bear! As an additional novelty, you can go for cataraman rides on the tank.

Day 4-6: Dambulla - Sigiriya - Kandy - Bentota
Day 4: Dambulla - Sigiriya - Kandy
Today after breakfast check-out of the hotel and proceed to Sigiriya (Approximate travel time from Dambulla to Sigiriya – 30 Mins – 45 Mins).
Proceed to climb the Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is known as the 8th wonder of the world. This rock fortress was built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D. and was a royal citadel for more than 18 years. In a sheltered a pocket, approached by a spiral stairway, are the famous frescoes. The summit of the rock, with an area of nearly one hectare was the site of the palace and the outer wall was built on the very brink of the precipice. The UNESCO sponsored Central Cultural Fund has restored Sigiriya 5th century water gardens to their former glory.
On completion proceed to Kandy (Approximate travel time from Sigiriya to Kandy– 02 Hrs. 2 ½ Hrs). Kandy is a large city in central Sri Lanka. It's set on a plateau surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and biodiverse rainforest. The city's heart is scenic Kandy Lake (Bogambara Lake), which is popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, celebrated with the grand Esala Perahera annual procession. Check-in to hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure enjoying facilities such as the swimming pool, spa or other recreational activities.

Day 5: Kandy
Today after breakfast visit Royal Botanical Gardens. The Royal Botanical Gardens at ‘Peradeniya’ is where you could treat your eyes to an amazing, wide and rare collection of tropical and temperate, exotic and indigenous flora, and an orchid house with the largest collection in Asia.
In the afternoon visit Temple of the Tooth. Visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic. It is located in the royal palace complex which houses the Relic of the tooth of Buddha. Since ancient times, the relic has played an important role in local politics because it is believed that whoever holds the relic holds the governance of the country. Kandy was the last capital of the Sinhalese kings and is a UNESCO world heritage site partly due to the temple. Check-in to hotel and spend rest of the day at leisure enjoying facilities such as the swimming pool, spa or other recreational activities.

Day 6: Kandy - Bentota
Today after breakfast check-out from the hotel and proceed to Bentota for your much needed relaxing beach stay in the in the western coast of Sri Lanka (Approximate travel time from Dambulla to Bentota– 04 ½ - 05 ½ Hrs. Check-in to the hotel and enjoy the comfort of this magnificent hotel surrounded by the Indian Ocean and the Madu River.

Today after breakfast leave the hotel at 0900 hrs and proceed to Galle for an City Tour. Visit Dutch Fort (Approximate travel time from Bentota to Galle– 01 – 1 1/2 Hrs.)
Galle is a coastal town where the Dutch presence is still visible. Galle was an ancient port (said to be the legendary Tarshish of the Bible), and our first international commerce and trade centre. Today, Galle is the bustling provincial capital and administrative center of the south. It is famous for its lovely Unawatuna Bay, where the sea is reef protected and therefore safe for swimming. The old Dutch “Star Fort” (a World Heritages Site) covering 36 hectares, the well-preserved Groote Kerk (Dutch Church), Dutch Government House, the New Oriental Hotel (built in 1684) old bell tower and a tide-based Sewage-System, also introduced by the Dutch. In Galle they still make the Dutch ‘pillow-lace’ and do fine ebony carving and gem polishing.
On completion proceed to Yala for an exciting Safari

Yala National Park The elephant is undoubtedly the best known attraction at Yala, seen in small & large herds. Herds of spotted deer are seen all over the park. Monkeys the pinkish rhesus and the grey faced Langur monkey, live and play on the tree tops and the ground below. Wild buffalo & wild boar could give a good surprise & the sight of a leopard sunning itself or drinking water at a water hole could be memorable experience. The peacock is easily the most famous of the birds at Yala. The painted stork, many varieties of heron, the spoonbill, the bee-eater, parakeets, and king-fisher & wood pecker are some of the birds can be seen in the park. Return to the hotel.
