Day 1-4
Day 1: Enjoy the day at your leisure or alternatively take an optional, guided afternoon tour of Johannesburg and Soweto highlights. Return to the hotel late afternoon. You will be met by the tour guide for a tour briefing at 6pm. Enjoy dinner (own account) either at the hotel or at one of the many restaurants in Sandton.
Day 2: After breakfast, depart for the Panorama Route en route to Hazyview. The Blyde River Canyon and the Three Rondawels is the world’s largest green canyon, and is the first stop along the Panorama Route. Guests visit Bourke’s Luck Potholes and Wonder View, the highest viewpoint on this route. Stop for lunch (own account) in Graskop, arriving in the late afternoon at the overnight accommodation on the fringe of Hazyview. Relax prior to a leisurely dinner (own account) at the hotel.

Day 3: After an early breakfast, enjoy a full day at the iconic Kruger National Park. They enjoy a guided closed-vehicle game drive. The Kruger National Park supports a staggering variety of fauna and flora including some bird species rare and endemic to the area. Enjoy lunch (own account) at one of the park’s rest camps, before continuing on the bush adventure. Day 4: Enjoy an early breakfast before spending a second day on a guided closed-vehicle game drive in the Kruger National Park. An optional full-day safari in an open safari vehicle is available (own account and excluding lunch). Spend the day finding the ‘Big 5’ and many of the fauna and flora. Lunch (own account) at one of the park’s rest camps. Leave the park at Malelane Gate. Arrive in the late afternoon at the overnight accommodation, situated on the border of the famous park. Enjoy pre-dinner drinks (own account) on the deck overlooking the Crocodile River, before dinner at the hotel.

Day 5-9
Day 5: Depart the hotel after an early breakfast and travel to Hluhluwe via the Kingdom of Eswatini. Ezulwini Valley is commonly known as the ‘Valley of Heaven’ and contains a number of notable wildlife sanctuaries and craft markets. Enjoy lunch (own account) en route. Guests re-enter South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal en route to Hluhluwe. Arrive early evening at the hotel in time for a Zulu cultural show and dinner (own account).

Day 6: After breakfast, the tour heads for St Lucia, where you can enjoy a boat cruise on the St Lucia Estuary (own account). View rare wildlife and birdlife, mangrove swamps and vegetated sand dunes that make for an interesting and educational cruise. Day 7: Enjoy the morning at leisure before departing for Mthatha, stopping for lunch en route (own account). The Mandela Route takes a scenic drive on the N2 highway to Mthatha. Once there, you can follow in the footsteps of Nelson Mandela, a South African icon. Arriving at the hotel in the late afternoon, freshen up before enjoying dinner at the hotel (own account).

Day 8: Enjoy an early breakfast and depart from Mthatha to the marina town of Port Alfred via Qunu, where Nelson Mandela was laid to rest and is still recognised as his family home. Continue south and enjoy lunch en route (own account), and arrive late afternoon at the hotel in the heart of the Sunshine Coast. Day 9: After an early breakfast, enjoy a boat cruise (weather permitting) along the scenic Kowie River before travelling inland along the Garden Route. The Garden Route derives its name from the ecologically diverse vegetation of the area found between the Indian Ocean and the Tsitsikamma mountains. Guests enjoy lunch in Tsitsikamma (own account) and take a short walk to the suspension bridge of the Storms River Mouth. Day 10-13
Day 10: After a hearty breakfast, depart for Oudtshoorn in the Klein Karoo. This morning’s excursion gives guests the opportunity to photograph the Knysna Lagoon and the Knysna Heads. Travelling inland to the ostrich capital of the world, Oudtshoorn, driving over the Outeniqua Pass, the tour arrives in time for lunch (own account) at an ostrich farm on the outskirts of Oudtshoorn, where a tractor tour (own account) introduces guests to the ostrich industry. In the Cango Valley guests discover the spectacular subterranean world of the Cango Caves (own account). Day 11: After breakfast, the tour journeys westwards, along Route 62 and via the Cape Winelands, to Cape Town. Day 12: Cape Town boasts a smorgasbord of delights, including an impressive mountain range, an inviting night life, extensive shopping venues, world-class art and cultural events. Kruger National Park Full Day Game Drive

Enjoy a private game drive and search for the 147 mammal species, 507 bird species and 114 reptile species in the Kruger National Park!
During the course of the day, we will utilise no more than 10% of the 2 294 km of roads open to the public in the Park. All roads lead somewhere and while enjoying the diversity of wildlife the Kruger has on offer, we will make a stop for breakfast. You will have a chance to browse through the shops and visit the bank (Skukuza only) if you need to. After breakfast, we will continue with our Game Drive. En route, we try to show you as much as possible and with a bit of luck, we may just spot the elusive Leopard as well. Lunchtime gives you a chance to stretch your legs and enjoy the splendour of this magnificent place! After lunch, we will slowly make our way back to the Gate (Pestana Kruger Lodge). This includes a “comfort stop” for the guests on the way at one of the many Camps or Picnic areas inside Kruger.
Table Mountain and City Half Day Tour

Cape Point Full Day Tour (Day 12)

Cape Town is built on a mountainous peninsula. This full day tour is an ideal way to see the highlights of the city!
TTravel along the Atlantic seaboard with its white beaches and rugged mountains to Hout Bay. If time permits, there is the option of taking a half hour boat trip to Duiker Island to see a Cape Fur Seal colony (for own account). If open, continue on Chapman’s Peak Drive, noted as one of the most stunning roadways in the world. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve and the tip of the Cape Peninsula that has captivated travelers for centuries. The return journey to Cape Town takes guests along the False Bay coast with the option of visiting the colony of rare African Penguins at Boulders Beach (for own account). Guests will pass through the naval village of Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Kalk Bay and Muizenberg. Visit the Rhodes Memorial viewpoint and learn about the significance of this historical site before returning to the hotel.
