Your Itinerary —
Please note that there are no upper age restrictions for this tour. However it is an adventure tour and therefore clients must be able bodied to be able to climb in and out of a Safari Truck.
Upon arrival you will be met by your driver & driven to Greenfire Lodge Johannesburg. The rest of the day is free to do as you please.

Day 2: Drive through the Mpumalanga Province
In the morning, head out into the spectacular scenery of the Mpumalanga province. Your car will take you from the quaint little town of Dullstroom to the imposing Three Rondavels that tower over the Blyde River Canyon Nature Reserve.
Later on in the afternoon you will descend from the escarpment to the Lowveld area where wyou will stay overnight at the comfortable Greenfire Bushveld Camp within the Balule Game reserve, part of the Greater Kruger National Park. After dinner you will be treated to an open vehicle night game drive.

Wake up with the African sun and set out on foot in this 'Big 5' reserve for a walk through the plains. Your trained tracker will attempt to show you these magnificent animals in their natural habitat while also giving you some insight into the art of tracking.
Afterwards, you can return to the camp for a heart brunch and refreshing swim before packing up and moving on to the world-renowned Kruger National Park - widely acclaimed as Africa's most successful Nature Reserve. Eat a delicious dinner, and settle in for your 3 night stay in the park.

Day 4 - 5: Kruger National Park
With 2 full days devoted to game drives, you will spend as much time as possible out in this nature reserve in search of the 'big 5' & the multitude of other animals that live in this park. All while your guide explains what's around you.

The Kruger is known for its superb bird-watching, its game includes buffalo and lion, kudu, leopard, wild dogs, warthogs, baboons, hippo and crocodiles. Visitors can slow down and experience the rhythm, sounds and cycles of the bush. What's more, you can see for miles and miles, and never catch sight of another person.
Upon leaving the park you will cross the border into Mozambique & make your way across the Limpopo flood plains, through numerous villages & finally making your way to the inviting Indian Ocean. Your journey will also take you into the Transfrontier Piece Park that borders Kruger Park.
For the next 2 nights you will be staying a a remote beach resort that is hidden on the large sand dune that separates the inland fresh water lake system from the crystalline ocean. Here, you will have a full day to enjoy the surf & to explore the unspoilt surroundings.

Day 8 - 10: Inhambane
Follow the coast along to Maxixe in the north, from here you can enjoy a trip with the locals that will take you across the bay on a traditional Dhow while your guide will meet you at the ancient trading port of Inhambane.
Spend some time exploring & visit the bustling local market before continuing on to your beach accommodation. Enjoy 3 nights here where you can relax, snorkel or simply soak up the sun whilst exploring the deserted beaches that Mozambique is so well known for.
Overnight at Ngumula Lodge with breakfast, lunch & dinner included. Dinner on day 10 will be at your own expense, you can also add scuba diving to your trip
Day 11: Catembe via Maputo
Return to the coast where you will find the country's capital, Maputo, where you will spend some time driving around & exploring this once grand city, drinking in its Latino culture of street cafes, music & bustling markets, after which you will continue on to Catembe to spend the night.
Overnight at Catembe with breakfast & lunch included. Dinner will be at a local restaurant where you can sample some of the local seafood (at your own expense)
The richness of the landscape, all loamy red soil and swaying grassland. It is this camera-calling beauty – along with the 1500 miles of pristine Indian Ocean coastline and the country's fascinating history – that explains why Mozambique is gradually rising as a tour destination.
Wind your way south & into the tiny kingdom of Swaziland. You will spend the entire afternoon exploring one of the game reserves that makes this area so well known.

Day 13 - 14: Zuluand
Today you will return to South Africa & enter an area that was once ruled by the famed Shaka Zulu. This is an area of Game Reserves & impressive landscapes that will take you breathe away. Spend 2 nights surrounding by sublime views in this lush area that offers protection to a variety of indigenous animals, including the Black & White Rhino.

Day 15: Return to Johannesburg
Your journey continues through the heart of Kwazulu - Natal where you will pass many rural Zulu villages & spectacular scenery on your way back to Johannesburg.

Day 16: Departure
After breakfast you will be transferred to the airport for your flight home.
