Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-4
Day 1: Arrive at Johannesburg airport and pick up your rental car. Drive to White River and stay overnight at the Stille Woning Guest House (breakfast included).
Day 2-4: Explore the park at your own pace with your rental car. Discover more than 147mammal species, including of course the famous Big 5. Follow the routes and you will have every chance of coming across elephants, giraffes, buffaloes or lions. Stay at Skukuza Rest Camp (accommodation only).
Day 5-7
Day 5: Drive on the Panorama Route to Blyde River Canyon, the third largest canyon in the world! Over 20 km, the scenery is simply breathtaking. Do not miss the panoramic view from God's Window or the potholes, spectacular geological formations formed by the action of water. Continue to Pilgrim's Rest, a former gold miners' village. Stay at The Graskop Hotel.
Day 6: Time to go to Johannesburg. Stop along the way in a Ndebele village, near Pretoria. This tribe is famous for its art, including wall paintings and beadwork. Then, discover Soweto, a district of Johannesburg emblematic of the fight against apartheid. Stay at Pablo House Melville (breakfast included).
Day 7: Your trip has come to an end. Drive your rental car back and catch your flight home from Johannesburg.

You may choose from Economy, Premium or Business class flights on sectors that they operate, at the next stage of the booking process. The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.
Car Hire:
For the freedom to explore your destination at your own pace, make the most of included car hire with your booking. Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group. The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver. The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted). The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on the collection of the vehicle and in some cases, a credit card or cash deposit will be required. Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions. Other fees may be applicable in addition to the cost of your car rental for any additional products added to your car rental. Important information about offers without a flight:
To ensure that your rental car is available upon arrival, please notify us of your flight schedules within 48 hours of making your reservation by filling out the relevant form in your member account. Without this information, your car may not be available on time.
Information about car rental for your tour The rental includes: unlimited mileage, administration fees, taxes in case of picking up the vehicle at an airport, local taxes, CDW insurance which covers the payment of material damage caused to the vehicle during an accident, damage collision, theft of the TLW vehicle, fire, total redemption of excess in the event of a claim. The rental does not include (fees/supplement to be paid on site): - insurance for a second driver - Damage caused by using a road not suited to your type of vehicle - The deposit taken from your credit card: +/- ZAR 3,425 - An additional spare wheel - The deposit for a second spare wheel and any additional wheel - broken glass as well as damage that may be caused to rims, tires, hubcaps, sills and damage caused by sand or "water damage" - The baby seat to be reserved at least 72 hours before arrival - Possible border crossing fees Rental conditions: - Minimum age of the driver: 21 years old and 3 years of licence - Present a valid international driving licence - Present a credit card (Visa and Mastercard) for the deposit in the name of the main driver - In case of repair and purchase of a new tire, the costs will be reimbursed by the lessor on presentation of an invoice.
