Located on the northwest coast of Madeira, São Vicente (Cape of Saint Vincent) is a remote spot that is claimed to be the most south-westerly point of Europe!

 

The Madeira Islands are part of Portugal located in the Atlantic Ocean. They offer incredible landscapes with natural pools, cliffs overlooking the ocean, and picturesque towns. Madeira is one of the world's most beautiful locations to travel to!

 

São Vicente is better known for its lighthouse, the second most powerful in Europe. It is just a few kilometres northwest of Sagres, where you will find fine beaches, such as the 600-meter long beach of Praia da Mareta! This beach is popular with sunbathers, families as well as surfers.
