Your Destination —

Located on the stunning Praia da Rocha beach in Portimao, the Hotel Bela Vista can be reached from Faro International Airport in around 1 hour, or from Lisbon Airport in about 2 hours 30 minutes.

Here on the Western coast of Portugal, you will find golden sands that stretch for over two kilometres, framed by dramatic rocky cliffs.  Truly a beach lover's dream - with surfing, diving and snorkelling as just some of the activities on offer. The beautiful marina is lively and elegant - the perfect to spot to spend an evening watching the yachts as the sun sets, eating freshly caught fish at a waterside cafe.

The hotel has private access to the beach, and guests can also reach Portimao for shopping in a few minutes by car, taxi or bus. Private parking is available at the hotel.

The Algarve area is the most popular golfing destination in Europe, with the prestigious Vilamoura Golf Course and the legendary Royal Course at Vale de Lobo nearby. Praia da Rocha area is also one of the most popular and enjoyable areas for water sports activities such as jet skiing and water skiing. Sailors will delight in the excellent marinas in Lagos, Portimao and Praia da Rocha - all have been awarded the EU Blue Flag.

The Algarve is the ideal place to have a wander and a look around markets as most towns and villages have their own. We highly recommend the Wednesday market at Quarteira and the Saturday Market at Loule.

The Bela Vista Hotel is an intimate and luxurious adults-only hotel, as well as an historical property situated right on the amazing beach of Praia da Rocha. A warm place combining modern comfort with traditional standards of hospitality, where hotel guests feel welcomed and valued.

The building which houses the Bela Vista Hotel has belonged to a Portuguese family since the 19th century. The property used to be a small hotel of just 15 rooms which opened in 1934. The renovation of the hotel has been directed by Graça Viterbo, one of Portugal's leading interior design firms with extensive experience in the independent luxury hotel sector.

A bar and lounge restaurant is situated around the pool with stunning sea views. The Bar provides a relaxing environment for aperitifs or post-dinner drinks, with the terrace offering the chance for a romantic soiree as the sun sets to the west.

Beach - From the hotel there is private access to the sweeping Praia de Rocha beach below, allowing guests to stroll along the sand and take a swim in the Atlantic when the mood takes them, and return to the calm of the hotel at leisure.

Your Journey —

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no-frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: private transfers can be added during the next stage of the booking process at an additional fee 

Car hire: can be added at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only)

The approximate distance/time between Faro airport and hotel is 75 km/55 minutes.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.
The minimum age for driving a hire car in Portugal is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, 'Meet & Greet', car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your ‘Safe Senders’ list or check your ‘Junk mail’ regularly for your travel documents.
