Torel Palace Porto 5* —
Just like the name suggests, Torel Palace Porto 5* is a luxury boutique hotel in a palatial 19th-century mansion.
A stunning example of Porto's romantic architecture, it's minutes from São Bento Railway Station and the main square of Praça de Liberdade.
The gorgeously ornate skylight in the centre of the hotel is arguably an attraction in itself, and each of the 24 rooms is decorated in keeping with the hotel's opulent style.
The spa uses products from Phyt's and Oliófora in its extensive treatment menu, and the restaurant serves excellent Portuguese cuisine.
