Just a short walk across the river and you can find the city of Vila Nova de Gaia which was hectic after the second half of the eighteenth century with the construction of numerous and famous Port wine cellars and other traditional activities such as woodwork and metalwork. The centre of Vila Nova de Gaia is where you will find your hotel, Hotel Black Tulip, just ten minutes away from Porto city centre via metro. Vila Nova de Gaia's lovely beaches are situated just 5 minutes by car from the hotel.

With the recent recovery and revitalization policies for historical centers, the landscape of the riverside area of Vila Nova de Gaia has a new commercial and tourist dynamic that revolves around hospitality activities, restaurants and leisure.

Choose from a diversity of delicious dishes thoughtfully prepared by Chef Artur Alvelos and served with a smile by the staff. There is a variety of fish, meat and pasta dishes and light options as well as salads and eggs. Situated on the 10th floor, the restaurant was designed architectonically to offer diners a spectacular view all over the city.

Bar Vintage
Located in the lobby near reception and the main entrance, this bar offers a space to relax with your favourite drink or cocktail. Snacks and sandwiches are also available on the menu.

Your Time —

Choose to add a 50 Mins 6 Bridges Cruise in Porto with wine tasting at Porto Cruz at the next stage of the booking process for an additional fee. 

Travel by boat on the bridges cruise to see the architectural forms of the city of Porto emerge majestically. It is a stuninng sight and a unique experience. Following this, taste port wine at Espaco Porto Cruz whilst learning about the wine culture.

For the river cruise, members must travel to Cais da Ribeira on the 2nd day of the stay at any time between 10.30 and 15.30 as the boat departs every 45 mins.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers
You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
