À Terra is a restaurant with homemade, delicious, healthy food. Conceived as a place for sharing, benefiting from a continuous service, it uses many local ingredients. Rustic life is back to nourish one’s soul with the warm comfort of things that are close to one’s memories: aromas, textures, colors, flavors, melodies, sensations, stories… all life’s main ingredients that make us truly happy. The woodstove and the Josper are the “main actors” here. Pastas, pizzas, bruschettas, roasts and grills prepared in the old traditional Portuguese style.

Diving:
The crystal clear and temperate waters of the sea make the Azores archipelago the ideal diving destination. With numerous spots to practice various types of diving, one discovers an underwater landscape with a volcanic seafloor, archaeological sites and a unique biodiversity.
Hiking trails:
There are about 60 marked trails to know the beauty of the landscape with several points of geological, biological and historical interest, without forgetting the Azorean roots and traditions. There are trails for different levels of difficulty and distance, on the coastline or inland to discover waterfalls, lakes, vineyards, fishing boats, mountains, natural pools, meadows and animals.
Canyoning:
For its volcanic features, the Azores offer great trails to practice this sport in a outstanding scenery. From large vertical canyons to simple paths, options and locations are many - with special emphasis on the islands of São Miguel, São Jorge and Flores.
Surf:
The mild climate, the morphology of the islands and the constant temperature of the air and water are ideal for surfing throughout the year, especially in the winter months. There are many spots with excellent conditions that attract more and more surfers to the Azores.
Whale and Dolphin Watching Excursion —

The Azores are considered one of the best world destinations to watching cetaceans. Here you can find about 25 species of whales and dolphins, resident and migratory. There are still sharks, turtles and other equally fascinating marine animals to meet in absolutely thrilling rides.
Tours of around 3 hours operate daily, depending on weather conditions. All tours are preceded by a briefing in which qualified biologists explain the importance of how the Azoreans have converted whale hunting to whale watching in the Azores.
