One of the most enchanting walking tours on Madeira Island, this offers a real immersion in nature with tremendous valleys, fascinating waterfalls, century-old laurels and heathers. Rabaçal offers this and much more.
Walking Tour - Queimadas/Caldeirão Verde
A very special walk through one of the Madeira’s oldest Levadas where you can feel nature. Surrounded by vegetation, you can admire beautiful landscapes of valleys, small craters, water falls, sea and mountains. Includes a visit to the Natural Park of Queimadas.
Walking Tour - Pico do Arieiro/Pico Ruivo
This is one of the most beautiful walks due to its location, above the clouds that connect two of Madeira's highest peaks through a network of tunnels and ledges. Some people say that it is the most impressive walk, due to the breathtaking landscapes made up of the formidable rock formations and the magnificent mountains of Madeira. Even on sunny days, you can have a 360 degree view, where you can see some places in Madeira, such as: Curral das Freiras, Porto Santo, Desertas and Ponta de São Lourenço.
Walking Tour - Ponta de São Lourenço
This is a hike unlike any other, among unique vegetation. Located in the extreme east of Madeira, you will find the well-known peninsulas. In addition, exposure to strong wind in this region resulted in low vegetation. Although the vegetation is low when walking along the trail, you will be able to enjoy stunning and unique landscapes with the Desertas Islands, in the South, and the islands of Porto Santo, in the North, with a landscape of the coast and a beach of black sand due to natural volcano in this area. You can also enjoy beautiful unique species of fauna and flora, such as protected seabirds, such as the Shearwater's Shearwater, Madeira's Daffodil, Alma-Negra and the Common Tern.

Funchal —
Home to awe-inspiring landscapes, vineyards, tropical forests and a rugged coastline, it's easy to see why the volcanic island of Madeira is often referred to as the 'Garden Isle'. Situated in the Atlantic Ocean, with breathtaking scenery that wouldn’t seem amiss in a Jurassic Park film, Madeira is a fabulous year-round destination that promises a whole host of excursions alongside a temperate climate.
In terms of top attractions, tourist favourites include the charming Funchal Cable Car, which offers guests panoramic views of the ocean, mountainside and houses. The astounding Monte Palace Tropical Garden is where guests can revel in the beauty of the Japanese pagoda or explore the manicured grounds around the former hotel. Finally, no trip to Madeira is complete without an exciting boat trip, as the island is home to plenty of companies that specialise in running sealife tours - allowing you the chance to see everything from bottlenose dolphins to pilot whales in their natural habitat.
