Enjoy a break in an idyllic setting, in this charming Madeiran quinta dating back to the 18th century. Tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, the hotel features modern facilities with all the style and comfort of a traditional quinta.

For the perfect start to your holiday, you will be greeted with complimentary fruits upon arrival. At the end of your stay you willl also be treated to a bottle of wine as a leaving gift (per room and per stay)!

Taste

The breakfast room, called the "Pink Room", features a veranda decorated with an exceptional porcelain mural dating back to the 16th century, and a garden lounge surrounded by fragrant exotic flowers.

Take a seat at the Beresford, an elegant restaurant offering delicious Madeiran and international specialities, to be enjoyed inside or on the terrace.

Hidden away in the tropical decor surrounding the pool, Bistro Colombo serves refreshments, snacks and meals prepared exclusively using fresh local produce.

Head to Bar o Visconde to sip a cocktail whilst watching the sunset and listening to good music in an intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

Please note: Children under the age of 8 are not allowed in the Beresford dining room.

Experience

Enjoy a refreshing dip in the hotel's spectacular outdoor pool, before soaking up the sunshine on a sun lounger on the terrace, or relax under the shade of a parasol.

To help you keep in shape, the hotel also features a gym, and a Spa, fully equipped with a sauna, hammam and jacuzzi.

By plane:
- Funchal Airport is located 19.6 kilometres away from the hotel (about 18 minutes drive).

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
