Your Itinerary in Detail —
Day 1-4
Day 1: Arrive in Panama City, the airport is located 26 km northeast of Panama City. Take the shared transfer and head to your first hotel for check-in.
Day 2: After breakfast, enjoy the included half-day city tour. Visit the Casco Antiguo. Founded in 1673, known as Casco Viejo, it's a monument to the French entrepreneurs who launched the Panama Canal stands at the end of the Casco Viejo on the bay side.
Visit the art museum known as Las Bovedas converted into a fortified house that once served to store gold. This neighbourhood features bustling plazas and quaint brick-paved streets surrounded by colourful buildings. A great place to stroll, soak up history, and enjoy the city's unique variety of gastronomic, cultural, and photographic experiences. You can stay to meet the locals in the heart of the nightlife!
Other points of interest are the famous flat-arched Santo Domingo Church, the beautiful golden altar and the town church. Domingo, the magnificent gold-plated altar of San Jose Church, the Panama Canal Museum, the National Theatre, the National National Cathedral, the National Cathedral, the Presidential Palace and many other colonial monuments and churches.
Day 3: After breakfast, you will take a shared transfer (a two-hour drive), through the rural villages and green hills west of Panama City, is the quaint town of El Valle, nestled in the crater of a giant extinct volcano. To enter the crater, you will step over its rim with spectacular views of this fertile and mountainous region. It is a quiet town, surrounded by lush forests and peaks with sparkling streams that add to the beauty of the valley.
Located 1000 m above sea level, El Valle enjoys a cool and refreshing climate and is known as the land of eternal spring.
Day 4: Discover El Vallee de Anton at your own pace. Many activities are possible to do from the village. The famous hike “la India Dormida” which will take you to the top of the mountain with an incredible view of the Pacific Ocean and the surrounding mountains. Waterfalls, zip lines, animal parks, horseback riding or even the craft market in the heart of the village will be to be discovered.
Day 5-8
Day 5-7: End your trip at the beach, on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, in Santa Clara more precisely. These vast white sand beaches will allow you to practice water sports, walk for several kilometres or simply relax with your feet in the water!
Day 8: Your trip has come to an end... time to head back to the airport for your flight home!
