They will also give you a helpful Travel Planner and Information Pack, bursting with maps, itineraries and routes.
Proceed across mountainous terrain to Windhoek, the lively capital of Namibia. Your accommodation is situated in a quiet suburb close to the city center. Take the evening to explore and sample typical Namibian cuisine in the city!
DAY 2 : WINDHOEK - NAMIB DESERT
Leave Windhoek and head to your next stop in the Namib Desert, where some of the highest sand dunes on Earth tower over the white desert plains. Pass a lazy afternoon relaxing by the pool, or take part in optional activities offered at the lodge.
Breakfast and dinner (excluding drinks) included.
DAY 3 : NAMIB DESERT
Leave early today to witness a spectacular sunrise over the dunes as you head towards Sossusvlei. Enter Namib Naukluft National Park as the first rays of the sun colour the sandy mountains apricot, terracotta and deep orange under a clear blue sky. See the surreal Deadvlei, surrounded by some of the world's highest dunes, and Sossusvlei, home to the dry Tsauchab River. Take the opportunity to climb the majestic sand mountains and enjoy views over the desert landscape at the top.
Descend along the rocks to Sesriem Canyon, a deep crevice carved out by the Tsauchab River.
Breakfast and dinner (excluding drinks) included. Breakfast will be in the Namib Desert.
Day 4 : SWAKOPMUND
Leave for the small village of Solitaire, resting on the edge of Namib Naukluft National Park. Pause for a coffee and a slice of delicious apple pie before driving through the desolate hills of the Kuiseb Valley towards the vast Atlantic Ocean. Arrive in the port town of Walvis Bay and visit the sparkling lagoon, one of the most important wetlands on the African continent. Over 80% of Africa's flamingos feed in this lagoon, an impressive sight when they appear in groups.
Continue your scenic journey between the dunes and the Atlantic Ocean and reach Swakopmund, where you can enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. Stroll palm-lined streets and discover the delights of this popular holiday destination, where a bohemian mix of German architecture and African rhythms collide. The pleasant summer climate and long beaches attract fishermen and surfers from all over southern Africa.
Breakfast included.
DAY 5 : SWAKOPMUND
Enjoy a day exploring this idyllic coastal town, or take a day trip to the desert where visitors can take in the breathtaking scenery from the air on a scenic flight, skydiving over the desert, or quad biking and sandboarding in the dunes. Soak up the atmosphere of the picturesque town with its historic buildings, museums, shopping arcades and beach bars, and as an optional extra venture out on a whale and dolphin watching tour.
Breakfast included.
DAY 6 : SWAKOPMUND - TWYFELFONTEIN
Travel further north over the Brandberg, Namibia's highest peak (2579m), to Damaraland, one of Africa's most sparsely populated regions with great geological diversity. This rugged and rocky environment is home to the rare desert elephant, black rhino and several species of antelope.
Visit Twyfelfontein, a heritage site where Bushmen carved and painted over 2500 images 6000 years ago! Take a visit to the nearby Damara Museum before continuing on to the Petrified Forest, a geological phenomenon that demonstrates the origin and evolution of some of the oldest land masses on earth.
Breakfast and dinner (excluding drinks) included.

For over 100 years, zebras, elephants, giraffes, oryx, blue wildebeest, gazelles, kudu and a variety of other rare animals have roamed the park in peace. Tourist vehicles meander the dusty gravel roads without disturbing the wildlife, creating opportunities to glimpse nocturnal predators such as lions, leopards, hyenas and jackals. The Etosha Basin is a large salt pan which, depending on the season, glows dry and dusty in the midday heat or attracts thousands of migratory birds after heavy rains.
Breakfast and dinner (excluding drinks) included.
