Riad Laurence Olivier 4* is a large classical-style riad with traditional decor. Located in a peaceful corner of the Medina, it's just a ten-minute walk from the well-known Jemaa el-Fna square. The decor takes inspiration from Arabic and Andalusian culture, with fine antiques inside. Each room bears the name of an artist, writer, painter or fashion designer, who has lived or worked in Morocco. The hotel's courtyard has a pretty fountain at the centre and is filled with greenery, making for a tranquil haven in the bustling city.

The restaurant offers a selection of Moroccan dishes and is open from 12 pm to 11 pm each day. Taste slow-cooked tagine and couscous, along with dishes using fragrant spices, preserved lemons and olives. Try sweet pastries for dessert, made with honey, almond paste and orange blossom.
Your time
Take a refreshing dip in the large outdoor swimming pool and dry off under the sunshine in the garden. Peruse the shelves in the library, or use the traditional hammam for relaxation, Moroccan-style.
