Get to know the unique history, culture and heritage of Essaouira on this day tour to explore the best of Morocco’s trendy Atlantic city, the former Portuguese city of Mogador, and home to the 60’s trendsetters such as Jimi Hendrix, Cat Stevens and the Stones. En route there is an opportunity to see how the Argan oil is made before visiting the ancient fishing port and Scala “the Astapor” also known for being the filming location of the famously acclaimed series "Game of Thrones".

An artists’ meeting place - into the blue and white Medina, boasting art, fine woodwork, musical instruments, Berber Amazighen documents, costumes, carpet and much more but at a more leisurely pace than in Marrakech. Past the Clocktower and the Great Mosque into the shaded square crowded with Moorish cafés, then Siaghine Alley and the famous Mellah, Essaouira’s former Jewish quarters. After some time for a fresh fish lunch or just stroll along the beautiful sandy beach, then return to Marrakech.
