Your Itinerary In Detail —
5-Night Tour
Day 1: Arrival in Marrakech
Meet and greet by tour representative, and transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at Riad Laora or similar.
Day 2: Marrakech - Asni - Ouirgane
Early morning pick-up. Rising early for a sunrise hot air balloon flight means you get incredible panoramic views as you float along the air currents. On your hour-long journey, soar high above oases, secluded Berber villages, and the fields of the Al Haouz Plain.
Marvel at the incredible mountain range in the background and keep your eyes peeled for caravans of dromedary camels going about their daily business. Back on solid ground, enjoy a delicious Moroccan breakfast with the Atlas Mountains as your backdrop, before returning to your hotel with unforgettable memories. Return to your Riad.
After a short break to refresh, head to the red trails where you'll start your Asni and Ouirgane day trip from Marrakech. About an hour from Marrakech lies the magnificent green valley of Ourigane, hidden in the foothills of Mount Toubkal. Visit the Asni or Moulay Brahim souks (Wednesday and Saturday) before driving through the river gorges Gheghaia on the way to Asni, famous for amethyst, for a picnic lunch.
Ouirgane is the highest peak in the mountain range at an altitude of up to 2300 m. The Asni and Ouirgane Valley, known as 'The Happy Valley', has amazing landscapes, hiking trails and wildlife.

Day 3: Ouirgane - Amizmiz - Anougal – Tnirt
After breakfast, descend towards the Asni Valley, continuing along to Ouzguita villages, with a magnificent panorama of the Mount Toubkal massif.
Tiny villages, olive plantations and green vegetation lead to the Oued Nfiss Valley. Discover the picturesque Berber villages of Dnassa, surrounded by olive, fig, walnut trees, quince, prune and almond plantations. At an altitude of 1800M, the view is splendid with the snow-capped backdrop of the Atlas summits ion the winter months. Refreshment stop in Amizmiz Town. Continue to Anougal Valley.
Visit Imi n Tala Sources and stop for lunch. Continue your 4x4 ride through a succession of traditional rural villages along Amazigh Anougal Valley. Late in the afternoon, arrive in Tnirt Village. Finish your experience with a typical Berber dinner, with Said and his family.
Dinner and overnight at Guest House Benijja.
Day 4: Tnirt – Azgour – Imi ndounit Gorges – Taskourt – Agafay
Your breakfast will be served on an open-air terrace. Afterwards, head down the valley to visit the mining area in Azgour. Enjoy the scenic view of Toulkin Plateau and Ardouz Mountain.
Continue on, driving on offtrack roads (unsurfaced) that lead you to more remote Berber communities and landscapes. Arrive in Adaghas (2,000 m), where you'll have lunch in a cosy, traditional tavern.
Continue towards Imi-ndounit village, passing many villages on the way. Imi-ndounit or the'“Mouth of the Earth' really is the end of the road: a short walk will lead you to the steep-sided gorge. Using stepping stones and simple 'bridges', pass though the gorge and enter an area of incredible tranquillity. After some free time, you'll leave for Agafay desert. On the way, visit the village of Anbdour, known as the 'Titanic of the Atlas'.
Arrive in Agafay Desert. A sumptuous traditional meal in a tent full of carpets, soft lighting, and desert trinkets, will welcome you after a long day.
Dinner and overnight at Camp Canyon Lodge, or similar.
Day 5: Agafay – Marrakech
Take an early morning stroll before breakfast to see the sunrise over the Afgafay Hills and Atlas Mountains. Spend the morning at your leisure; take a short stroll to the canyons, or sunbathe around the pool.
In the afternoon, after your pick-up, you'll drive back to Marrakech and check in to your hotel. Your local guide will join you at the riad for a half-day discovery tour of the souks and medina. The guide will help you navigate the small alleyways packed with thousands of shops.
The tour offers you the chance to see the city’s famous historical, natural, and culinary highlights in one convenient package. Stroll through some of Marrakech’s most picturesque gardens, wander the labyrinthine streets of the Medina, and relax over dinner in a traditional Riad restaurant.
