The Bay of Kotor undoubtedly represents the greatest interest for staying in Montenegro. Rare are the places whose beauty exceeds that of the Bay of Kotor. Depart from the hotel to discover the southernmost fjord of Europe, its narrowest strait – Verige, old villages of Lepetani, Stoliv, Markov rt, Prcanj, Muo, Perast and the medieval town of Kotor, with its amazing fortresses and walls, all parts of Unesco heritage of the world. A spectacular panoramic view that offers Bay of Kotor will be carved into your memory. During the boat trip you will have opportunities to see the island of St. George, to stop and visit the artificially made island "Our Lady of the Rock", with its magnificent church from the XVIII century, decorated with 68 baroque paintings done by Tripo Kokolja. Enjoy lunch on the boat with free time for swimming, before returning to the hotel.
This excursion will help you discover the rich cultural, historical and natural heritage of Montenegro. In the morning you pass by the oldest coastal town in Montenegro, Budva, and continue towards Cetinje, the town museum and former capital of the country. Visit the town and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, you'll go to the heart of the country, the small village of Njegusi, the birthplace of the dynasty Petrovic Njegos that ruled the country for 220 years. After a short break in the village, you will enjoy the most exciting part of the tour, the old road that leads to Kotor, with its 25 harp-like bands. Admire breathtaking views of the Bay of Kotor. At the end of the day, visit of the medieval town of Kotor, one of two Montenegrin Unesco sites. This offer includes a guided sightseeing tour of the old town, and a visit to the cathedral of St. Tryphon, from the XIII century. Return to the hotel.
The fortified town of Dubrovnik is located 60 km from the hotel. Situated at the extreme south of the Dalmatian coast, near the border with Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Montenegro, Dubrovnik is the one of top tourist destinations in Croatia. Discover many historical monuments, together with its paved streets, and witness the rich history of this port city. After the organised sightseeing tour with a local guide, you will have free time for exploring the city on your own, shopping, but also, for the nice, delicious meal in the old town, next to the main street – Stradun.
This excursion that we have prepared for you will give you the opportunity to enjoy in a day full of history, pure nature and famous hospitality of Montenegrin people. On our way to the north of the country, we'll pass by the Grahovo village, famous for the battle from XIX century, then Niksic, an old town, that existed as early as in IV century, which is the industrial centre of the country. After passing by Vidrovan and Savnik, we'll arrive in Zabljak, a small town. The Montenegrin alpine centre, situated at the altitude of 1450m above the sea level is famous for its amazing Black lake. You will find yourself in front of Durmitor, the highest mountain massif in Montenegro (2523m). We will spend some time by the lake, to walk around, and enjoy the Montenegrin wild beauty. Later, we will have our lunch in a local restaurant and continue towards the most famous bridge in Montenegro – Djurdjevica Tara. Two canyons, high mountains, delicious food, breathtaking landscapes, small towns and monasteries… Return to the hotel for dinner.
This excursion, together with the one that we call “Tara canyon” will let you, in two days, enjoy the best that Montenegro has to offer. Skadar lake, where you will have the opportunity to take a boat trip and taste national specialties, is located in a National Park, famous for its flora et fauna (more than 260 bird species), and especially for its Dalmatian pelicans – a symbol of the lake. Lunch at the local restaurant, and return to the hotel.
