Important Points:
• All guests registered in the same room or travelling as a “party” must always be under the same package conditions. This also applies to children and teenagers.
• All drinks and food items are for personal consumption only and must be ordered one at a time.
• In-room dining can be made on All Inclusive Package with an additional 10% service charge and prevailing government tax.
• No compensation in cash or kind will be offered for non-consumed items
• All alcoholic beverages will not be served to persons aged 17 years and under
• Management reserves the right not to serve alcoholic beverages to intoxicated guests.
• All Inclusive Package is available until guests depart from the island.

Procedures:
• Guests must sign all food and beverage bills.
• No charges will be posted into the room account for those benefits included in the All Inclusive Package
• Items not included in the All Inclusive Package must be paid upon check-out

Currency:

The Sri Lanka Rupee (LKR) Denominations – Notes Rs. 10, Rs. 20, Rs. 50, Rs. 100, Rs. 500, Rs. 1000 and Rs. 5000 and in Coins Rs. 1, Rs. 5 and Rs. 10. We recommend exchange of currency be done at a bank or authorized currency exchange which offers legal tender and a better rate than at a hotel.

Credit Cards:

MasterCard, Visa and American Express cards are accepted widely around the island at hotels, shops, restaurants and malls. However, many small outlets prefer cash and hence it is recommended to carry some cash.

Precautions:

Generally, Sri Lanka is a safe country; however, it is your responsibility to secure your belongings and valuables at all times. Use safety lockers if provided in rooms for your valuables or lock them securely in your luggage. Do NOT leave valuables including your passports lying around loosely including in your hotel bedrooms when you are not occupying it. When moving around in public ensure your wallet is secure and ideally spread your money in different holders to minimize risk if lost or stolen.

Attire:

Comfortable cottons and flat heeled foot-ware is best when touring. Shorts, t-shirts, slippers are accepted. However, on a visit to a temple clothes worn must cover shoulders & knees. Head-wear and foot-wear must be removed before entering a temple. At hotels casual attire at breakfast and lunch is accepted but at dinner guests are expected to be attired in smart casual attire Outdoors during the day can be warm and hot therefore sunglasses and sun-screens are recommended. In places like Yala and where it is tropically warm, you may find mosquito’s and hence protecting your children especially (and yourself) with a repellent is advised. Many local pharmacies have such and can be purchased over the counter

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.
