Your Hotel —

Welcome to the Hotel Japamala Resorts. This 5* establishment, which is part of the Samadhi line of hotels, is a true pearl. Nestled in the jungle but also right on the beach, it has only a few rooms to assure that you have a private and calm holiday. Wood is the primary element used in the building and design of the lodgings, giving it an inviting atmosphere and an aspect that perfectly respects local tradition. Nature lovers, you will be submerged in your favorite surroundings and will return home with a head full of unforgettable memories and picture-postcard images. 

Sleep

The hotel's cottages, suites and villas are nestled in a lush natural setting. Midway between the sea and the tropical jungle, you will wake-up to the serene sounds of the forest every morning. To welcome you in the best way possible, you will find a complimentary fruits basket in your lodgings (per room, per stay).

- Tree Top Chalet (40 m² / max 2 persons): Perched above the luxurious jungle, and next to the water, the sounds of the birds and surrounding wildlife will lull you during your stay.

- Sea Cliff Chalet ( 40m² / max 2 persons): Settle into your lodgings that face the turquoise-blue waters of the lagoon yet seem suspended on the cliffside. The view of the South China Sea is breathtaking. 

- Jungle Luxe Sarang (60 m² / max 3 persons of which 2 adults): For those who prefer to remain on the ground, the Jungle Luxe Sarang is the ideal choice. Enjoy your outdoor bathtub as you feel snuggled by the encircling nature...

- Hillside Sarang (60 m² / max 3 persons of which 2 adults): Perched on high once again, this suite is ideal for recharging your batteries. Spacious and bathed in natural light, you will more than appreciate the amazing view from your terrace.

- Sea View Sarang (75 m² / max 3 persons of which 2 adults): The only villa of this type in Japamala, it is the perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Here, luxury and nature are marvelously blended together.

- The Penghulu House (140 m² / max 4 persons): Located on the feet of the wonderful sandy beach, this incredible villa has two gorgeous rooms and more than 140m² total dedicated to rustic luxury. The view of your lush, green environment is magical.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Taste

For breakfast, lunch or dinner, you may enjoy your meals in one of the hotel's restaurants. The famous Tamarind Tioman, a well-known restaurant that is part of the Samadhi line of hotels, serves you Malaysian and Thai cuisine. The elegant decoration and Asiatic style will plunge you in to a very agreeable serene atmosphere. The El Tiempo Restaurant welcomes you to enjoy typical Italian fare and the Mandi Mandi, perched high on terrace built on stilts, proposes international favorites in an enchanting setting. How would you like to dine under the stars? 

Included in this offer is the chance to revel in a complimentary afternoon snack (per room, per stay).

Experience

You are in an incredible natural setting, needless to say that the chance to discover and explore your surroundings will leave you with unforgettable memories. You may notably meet the local marine wildlife as you try your hand at scuba diving, enjoy a boat trip on the South China Sea or simply take a hike through the jungle to experience a magnificent sunset. The hotel also boasts its own spa, the "Samadhi Spa" where you can pamper yourself with a delightful and relaxing massage, administered using only local natural products.

Access —

By plane:
- The closest airport is Kuala Lumpur. You will need to organize transport onto Tioman Island.

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
