The 5-Star Vidamar Resort Madeira is located on the southern coast of Madeira only a few minutes’ walk from the city centre. The hotel boasts a contemporary style with elegant décor throughout. Rooms are spacious and modern, all featuring balconies overlooking the sea or garden views. Each room is equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, mini-bar and an en suite bathroom.
Guests may choose to play tennis or squash, or bathe on the hotel’s private beach. There is also a swimming pool with stunning views of the Atlantic.

'Dine Around' Includes the below restaurants at the resort:
• Ocean Buffet Restaurant: the spacious dining room is full of natural light with a large
terrace area overlooking the ocean. The Half Board buffet offers a wide selection of
meat, fish and vegetarian dishes.
The Buffet Restaurant also includes a selection of theme evenings with entertainment.
• The Mamma Mia Italian Restaurant is also open for non-residents, ensuring an
authentic atmosphere of local and tourist clients):
Half Board VIDAMAR guests are offered a “3 course Menu of Day” (this menu is a
selection from the Mamma Mia full menu).
• The Flamenco Tapas Restaurant offers al fresco dining with a range of delicious tapas
and live music.
VIDAMAR guests will benefit from a concession of 15Euro per person from the
Flamenco Tapas Food Menu.
• The Koi Sushi Bar: A new and interesting dining concept for VIDAMAR guests. Enjoy
the fantastic Ocean views from our dining room or Koi terrace
Half Board VIDAMAR Guests may enjoy a special 3 course Sushi Menu as part of the
Dine Around concept.
• Sabor a Mar restaurant: located on our exclusive sea platform only 30 meters from
the ocean. Enjoy the “grilled fish & meat show cooking of the day”
Half Board VIDAMAR guests may select from the “Show cooking of the Day”
accompanied by the salad buffet.
Dine Around Guidelines: Restaurant reservation must be made 24 hours in advance.
Guest are entitled to book one meal per restaurant.

The Spa features both wet and dry areas encompassing 14 rooms for treatments as well as for interior and exterior massage with corresponding relaxing areas. Around them you find the pool with whirlpool features, the Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath as well we the contrast, Vichy and Scottish showers.
Guests can also enjoy tennis courts, squash courts & a fully equipped fitness centre.
