Day 1: Mombasa

After an early breakfast, you will be collected from your beach hotel at 5:30 am and driven to Tsavo National Park (East).
Tsavo is Kenya's largest national park and is divided between east and west by the motorway. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and then have some time to relax before your afternoon safari.

Day 3: Tsavo National Park (East) - Taita Saltlick
After breakfast, go on a safari in Tsavo National Park (East), then check in and have lunch at the lodge. Famous for its beautiful scenery, volcanic hills, rivers and many species of wildlife, Tsavo East is a spectacular place to explore.
As well as the large herds of red elephants, other sighted species include Lugard Falls, Mudanda Rock and Aruba Dam.
Head out on another safari in the afternoon and return to the lodge at sunset.

- After lunch, you'll head off to the geological depression of Marafa, also known as Hell's Kitchen. This is a magnificent sandstone canyon with colourful gorges formed hundreds of years ago. Temperatures can reach 50°C in the gorges.

Marine safari in Watamu Marine Park
Set off on a marine safari that will take you to Watamu Marine Park for swimming, snorkelling and sailing in Mida Cove, bordered by a magnificent mangrove forest. You can also sample the delicious flavours of the sea over lunch on the island of Waka Waka.

- You'll be collected from your hotel and taken to BlueBay Village, where the boat captain will brief you on your day's programme before setting off for a leisurely sail out to sea to Watamu Marine Park.
