Day 1: Arrive in Amman

DAY 2: AMMAN - IRAQ EL AMIR - SALT - AMMAN
Visit Iraq Al Amir, a major Hellenistic site, famous for its palace dating from the 2nd century BC. Then continue to Salt to discover an authentic town with houses built in yellow Jerusalem stone from the Ottoman era. It was Jordan's first capital for a short time.

Day 3 : Amman - Jerash - Amman
Jerash is a captivating historical treasure in northern Jordan, where ancient Roman ruins transport you back in time. Wander through the remarkably preserved streets and marvel at the majestic architecture, as you explore this archaeological gem that offers a fascinating glimpse into the past.

DAY 4: AMMAN - ROUTE OF THE KINGS - MADABA - MOUNT NEBO - KERAK - PETRA
Also known as the city of mosaics, Madaba is a Byzantine bishopric boasting 14 churches of major artistic value, which were also home to an extraordinary school of mosaic artists. You will then visit Mount Nebo, where Moses set out from the plains of Moab and climbed to the summit. Then visit the Crusader fortress built around 1140. The fortress lies to the south of a rocky plateau, and is a fine example of Crusader architecture combining European, Byzantine and Arab styles.

Day 5: Petra
The red city, carved out entirely of soft sandstone, was created by geology. What is reflected on the site today is the work of man over some ten thousand years. Nearly 800 monuments dot the 100 km2 of Petra. It is the Eighth Wonder of the World, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, and is the most famous site in Jordan and the Middle East.

DAY 6: PETRA - LITTLE PETRA - WADI RUM
If Petra is the result of the combined efforts of man and nature, the cliffs, peaks, and valleys of Wadi Rum owe their serene beauty and overwhelming grandeur to no one but themselves, according to T. E. Lawrence. This site is one of the high points of the Great Arab Revolt, magnified by director David Lean in one of the most impressive scenes in his film Lawrence of Arabia.
