DAY 1: ARRIVE IN AMMAN
Settle into Jordan at a relaxed pace as you’re greeted at the airport and assisted through formalities before meeting your driver. Watch the desert plains roll by on your way into the capital, where limestone houses climb the hills in soft afternoon light. Check in to your hotel and take the rest of the day to unwind. A stroll around the neighbourhood or a quiet coffee will ease you into the city’s rhythm.

DAY 2: AMMAN → JERASH → AJLOUN → AS-SALT → AMMAN
Head north after breakfast to Jerash, where grand colonnades, theatres, and temples reveal one of the finest Roman cities in the region. Continue to Ajloun’s hilltop fortress for sweeping views across the Jordan Valley and a window into medieval strategy. Lunch at a family farm introduces rural life and warm Jordanian hospitality. Later, wander As-Salt’s Harmony Trail, where old stone houses reflect centuries of peaceful coexistence. Return to Amman for dinner and an overnight stay.

DAY 3: AMMAN → PETRA
Depart early for Petra, stopping first at Little Petra, a quieter cluster of carved facades that sets the tone for the grandeur ahead. After lunch, enter the famed Lost City through the Siq, the narrow gorge that dramatically reveals the Khazneh at its end. Wander among tombs, rock-cut dwellings, and the towering cliffs that frame this ancient Nabataean world. Your guided visit offers insight into its history and craftsmanship before you settle in for dinner and the night in Petra.

DAY 4: PETRA
Begin the day with a scenic hike from Petra’s rear entrance, arriving directly above the iconic Monastery in peaceful solitude. Explore this vast sanctuary carved into the mountainside before following trails descending into the heart of the city. Discover more of Petra’s elaborate facades, including a return to the Khazneh from a new perspective. Enjoy guided exploration followed by free time to wander at your own rhythm. DAY 5: PETRA → WADI RUM DESERT
Travel south into the vast landscapes of Wadi Rum, where towering sandstone mountains rise above wide ochre plains. A jeep tour takes you deeper into the desert, past natural arches, wind-sculpted cliffs, and viewpoints once admired by Lawrence. Pause for a traditional lunch at a Bedouin camp and soak in the stillness of the valley. As night settles, settle into camp life under a stretch of brilliant stars. Dinner and overnight in Wadi Rum.

DAY 6: WADI RUM DESERT → MADABA → AMMAN

At St. George’s Church, admire the famed 6th-century map that charts the ancient Near East in remarkable detail. Continue to Mount Nebo for sweeping views toward the Holy Land, a place long associated with the story of Moses. Arrive back in Amman in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in the capital.

DAY 7: AMMAN ⇄ DEAD SEA
