Your Itinerary —
Day 1: Arrive in Amman
Touch down in Queen Alia Airport in Amman, ready for the start of your exciting tour in Jordan! Night in Amman.
DAY 2: AMMAN
Meet your driver at the hotel in the morning, and head east to visit three historic desert castles, each built between the 7th and the 8th century, and beautiful examples of both early Islamic art and architecture. Described as castles because of their imposing stature, the desert complexes actually served various purposes over their long history, such as caravan stations, agriculture and trade centers, resort pavilions and outposts that helped distant rulers forge ties with local Bedouins. You will have around 1 hour to explore each of the unique castles.
Return to Amman in the afternoon to learn the rich history of Jordan's capital, the most populated city in Jordan. Amman is a fascinating city of contrast, a unique blend of old and new between the desert and the fertile Jordan valley. Start your tour from the city center, the oldest part of Amman, and enjoy your time exploring. Night in Amman.
DAY 3: AMMAN
Start the day with a visit to Al-Salt, an ancient agricultural town in west-central Jordan, once an important trading link between the eastern and west desert. Thanks to its good water supply and agricultural land, it has been inhabited since the Iron Age.
Next, transfer to the world-famous Dead Sea, where unique climate conditions, mineral-rich sea salt, thermo-mineral springs, and mineral-rich mud are said to provide numerous therapeutic benefits! Pass the afternoon sunbathing, swimming and floating on the buoyant waters, where the salt content is nine times higher than that of ordinary seawater. Return to Amman. Night in Amman.
Day 4: Amman - Petra
Transfer from Amman to Mount Nebo, located about 47 km from Amman and 10 km from Madaba. It is believed to be the place where Moses lived out his remaining days and is now viewed as the Promised Land, and the first church in Mount Nebo was built at the end of the 4th century AD.
Mount Nebo offers fantastic views of the Dead Sea, the West Bank, Jericho, the Jordan River, and on a clear day Bethlehem and Jerusalem.
Continue to Madaba, a small town in central Jordan home to many churches decorated with beautiful mosaics.
Next, visit Kerak, a town with a spectacular castle at its narrow southern tip. Throughout the castle, dark and roughly-shaped crusader masonry is easy to discern from the finely-crafted blocks of lighter and softer limestone used in later Arab work.
End the day at Little Petra, and enter the site through a narrow 350 metre long gorge called Siq Al-Barid. It is believed that Little Petra was an important suburb of Petra, the entry and exit point for the trade routes to the north and north-west. Night in Petra.
DAY 5: PETRA - WADI RUM
Slip on your comfy shoes as today you walk up to 10km exploring the giant red mountains and vast mausoleums! Petra is an iconic UNESCO World Heritage Site, a vast city carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago.
Begin the trip on horseback for 700m, and reach an impressive narrow gorge that leads to magical Petra. Night in Wadi Rum.
Day 6: Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum is the largest and most magnificent of Jordan’s desert landscapes, and is also known as the "valley of the moon". Explore the desert with a 4x4 SUV, with plenty of opportunity to trek through this unusual landscape.
Discover unexplored canyons complete with ancient Thamudic inscriptions and drawings. Visit historic Lawrence’s Well, named after Lawrence of Arabia, a Nabataean temple, a lush desert oasis, and amazing rock bridges.
Admire breathtaking panoramic views everywhere you look. Night in Wadi Rum.
DAY 7: WADI RUM - AMMAN
Transfer back to Amman and enjoy a free day to explore the narrow alleys and souks of Amman and pick up some final souvenirs. Night in Amman.

Jordan
Full to the brim with epic scenery, ancient history, captivating cities and bucketlist attractions, Jordan is a popular tourist destination that offers its guests a true immersion into the charms of the Middle East.
While Jordan offers a variety of spectacular UNESCO World Heritage Sites, none are more beloved than Petra, a fascinating archaeological city that sits within a mountain gorge and features beautiful 'rose-tinted' stone. Frequently referred to as one of the seven new Wonders of the World, this architectural masterpiece is a must-stop spot on any tourist's itinerary in Jordan.
For those hoping to escape the arid climate of the desert, we recommend taking advantage of Jordan's coastline with a visit to the Dead Sea. Thanks to the incredibly high salt quantities in the water, here, you can float atop the waves, make the most of the natural minerals and their healing properties and enjoy a well deserved rest, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life!
