Day 1: Trapani & the salt flats at sunset
Arrive in Trapani and check in at the B&B Hotel Trapani Crystal. Begin your discovery of the city with a stroll through its historic centre, where elegant Baroque façades, lively streets and a charming harbour atmosphere set the tone.
In the late afternoon, head to the Trapani and Paceco Salt Flats Nature Reserve, where windmills and shimmering salt basins create a magical setting at sunset.
Day 2: Erice, a village between sky and sea
This morning, travel up to Erice, one of Sicily’s most beautiful medieval villages, perched over 700 metres above sea level. Wander through cobbled streets and quiet squares, and admire sweeping views over the coastline and the Egadi Islands from the Castello di Venere.
Before returning, enjoy a sweet break at Maria Grammatico, renowned for traditional almond pastries. Return to Trapani in the afternoon.
Day 3: The Egadi Islands, a Mediterranean paradise
Set off from Trapani port for a full-day boat excursion to the Egadi Islands. After sailing to Favignana, discover its stunning coves and turquoise waters, with stops for swimming in crystal-clear seas. A light lunch is served on board.
In the afternoon, continue to Levanzo, a peaceful fishing island where time seems to stand still. Return to Trapani in the late afternoon.
Day 4: Marsala & wine heritage (tasting included depending on stay)
Travel to Marsala, a refined town famous for its historic wines. Enjoy a guided visit of the prestigious Florio cellars, including a wine masterclass with tastings paired with local specialities.
In the afternoon, discover Mozia, an ancient Phoenician island set within the Stagnone lagoon. At sunset, the surrounding salt flats glow with golden reflections. Return to Trapani.
Day 5: Zingaro Nature Reserve
Spend the day exploring the spectacular Zingaro Nature Reserve, Sicily’s first protected natural park. Walk along scenic coastal trails between limestone cliffs and hidden coves, where turquoise waters invite you for a refreshing swim.
Day 6: San Vito Lo Capo & Monte Cofano
Head to San Vito Lo Capo, known for its long white-sand beach and crystal-clear waters. Enjoy a relaxing morning by the sea, followed by a stroll through the village.
