NOTE:
The latest time for collecting the vehicle is as specified in the timetables above. After this time, if passengers’ flights have been delayed, customers must urgently notify the car hire agency of their new arrival time, as described on their Sicilissimo voucher. Sicilissimo shall not be held liable for any inconvenience caused by vehicles not being delivered due to a lack of information provided by customers to the rental companies. Rental companies may charge customers an additional fee for vehicle delivery after closing time if the wait is confirmed by the rental company to the customers. A credit card will be required on arrival for the deposit (NO debit cards / ‘Bancomat’ or ‘Postepay’ or similar prepaid cards).

Car hire terms and conditions:
Collection and return will take place at the airport.

The price includes:

- Unlimited mileage
- (VAT) 22%
- Airport charges and taxes (12% of the hire price)
- Insurance:

CDW: covering damage to the vehicle with an excess of €1,210.00;
TW: theft or total or partial fire damage to the vehicle with an excess of €1,710.00;

The price does not include:

- Anything not explicitly mentioned under ‘the price includes’
- Charges for additional drivers
- Charges for collecting cars outside office hours
- Traffic fines and fuel, for which a security deposit must be paid by credit card on arrival.
- The deposit will be refunded provided the car is returned with a full tank; otherwise, in addition to the fuel surcharge, an additional service charge of approximately €12.50 will apply.
- Comprehensive insurance supplement (excess waiver) per day: €16.00

Mandatory conditions:

A security deposit will be charged to your credit card upon arrival at the branch.
The deposit will be refunded provided the car is returned undamaged and with a full tank of fuel; otherwise, in addition to the cost of refuelling, a service charge of approximately €12.50 will be applied.
The rates shown are valid for a minimum hire period of 1 day (24 hours).
The vehicle must be returned at the same time as it was collected; any delay of more than 30 minutes will incur a charge equivalent to one day’s hire based on the official local rate applied by the rental company, payable on site.
Minimum driver age: 25 years old and in possession of a driving licence for more than one year.
Please note that for drivers aged 21 to 24, it is possible to hire the car with a “Young Driver” surcharge of €21.00 per day, payable on site at the car hire counter.
If the specified car category is no longer available, an alternative category with the same or superior specifications will be provided.
Only the holder of the rental agreement and any additional drivers listed on the agreement are authorised to drive. Consequently, any incident caused by a person not authorised to drive the vehicle will not be covered by insurance.

The driver: The driver of the car must be in possession of the credit card and the original, valid driving licence (no photocopies, no reports of loss, etc.), which will be requested at the car hire counter. If the home address does not appear on the driving licence, a valid identity card will be required.

Terms of use:

- The maximum waiting time for car hire is until midnight. After this time, and if the passengers’ flight has been delayed, the customer is required to inform the car hire agencies of the new estimated arrival time.
- In the event of non-use or partial use of the hire vehicle, no refund will be granted.
- The car hire companies EUROPCAR and HOLIDAY CAR RENTAL only accept the following debit cards, issued exclusively by banks: VISA DEBIT, MASTERCARD DEBIT, V-PAY. Prepaid and/or electronic cards belonging to the networks described above and not linked to a customer’s bank account will not be accepted.

No car hire service is available at Comiso Airport.

Important information regarding offers without flights:

To ensure your hire car is ready upon your arrival, please provide us with your flight details within 48 hours of making your booking by completing the relevant form in your member account. Without this information, your car may not be available when you need it.

If you book a package that includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package that does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as an agent for the accommodation provider.
