- Car hire Category B (Fiat Panda or similar)
In the heart of the Hyblean territory lies Parco Cavalonga, a treasure chest of architectural and scenic treasures as well as a declared UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Relais Parco Cavalonga 4* is a magical place to experience the elegant but authentic atmosphere of country life.
Relais Parco Cavalonga 4*, organised according to the "diffuse hotel" model, has rooms spread between the Ancient Farmhouse, the Period Villa, and its annexes, offering different choices of hospitality.
You will find yourself immersed in a large natural park, in which skilfully restored period architecture, swimming pools, places to relax, and routes of botanical and scenic interest, harmonise perfectly with the environment.
Your room —
Choose between a stay in a Superior Room or a Villa.
Superior Room (25 m²)
Relax in the spacious Superior Rooms that offer either double or triple beds. The airy rooms are on the first floor of the farmhouse with a large window overlooking the panorama of the park.
The headboards of the beds are all different, personalising each of the rooms. Some are made of masonry covered in cement bricks with designs taken from Sicilian tradition, while others are decorated with splendid artist's panels.
Villa (120 m²)
The Villas offer privacy, space, and all the comforts you need. Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen, a large terrace or private garden, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a comfortable living room. Breakfast is included, as are initial and final cleanings. For weekly stays, sheets and towels are changed after four nights.
Your dining choices
This is a bed and breakfast stay.
Start your morning off right with breakfast at I Paladini. In the evening, the main restaurant offers dishes inspired by Sicilian tradition. You can also take part in cooking classes to discover the culinary secrets of the region. To finish off a great day, you can enjoy a cocktail in the lobby and, on request, around the pool to enjoy more of the Sicilian sun.

Choose to upgrade to half board at the next step of the booking process. Breakfast and your evening meal will be served in the main restaurant (drinks excluded, conditions apply.)
Your time
It is hard to resist the call of the two infinity pools of the Relais Parco Cavalonga 4* to refresh yourself, where the rays of the Sicilian summer sun are reflected between carob and olive trees. Take a walk in the "field of aromas", and breathe in the scents of more than 35 varieties of aromatic herbs that are precious for the local cuisine.
Continue to reconnect with the primal elements of nature on the yoga terrace. If you feel the need to pamper yourself, note that massages, body/face treatments, and manicures/pedicures are available on request and at an additional cost. Sicily —
The largest island in the Mediterranean, Sicily is a crossroads of civilisations, blending Greek, Byzantine, Arab, and Norman influences into its rich cultural tapestry. From ancient ruins to Baroque towns, and from rugged landscapes to vibrant culinary traditions, this is an island of endless discovery and charm.
Must-sees:
- Palermo Cathedral: A fusion of Arab-Norman architecture with Byzantine mosaics.
- Valley of the Temples: Ancient Greek ruins near Agrigento set amid olive groves.
- Mount Etna: Europe’s most active volcano, offering scenic hiking and wine-tasting opportunities.
Culinary culture:
Sicily’s cuisine reflects its diverse history, combining Mediterranean flavours with bold spices and textures. Indulge in arancini, golden rice balls stuffed with meat or cheese, and pasta alla Norma, a celebration of aubergine, tomato, and ricotta. Don’t miss the cassata or cannoli, two of the island’s most beloved desserts. For a truly local experience, visit Palermo’s bustling markets to sample panelle, fried chickpea fritters served in sandwiches.
Dive deeper:
Beyond the iconic sites, Sicily rewards those who linger with its lesser-known gems. Explore Licata, a peaceful coastal town famed for its fresh seafood and sandy beaches. Wander the medieval streets of Erice, perched atop a hill with breathtaking views. For art lovers, the mosaics of Villa Romana del Casale in Piazza Armerina reveal intricate glimpses of Roman life.
Good to know:
The currency is the Euro, and Sicily’s Mediterranean climate makes it a year-round destination, with spring and autumn offering the best weather. Public transport connects major cities, but renting a car is ideal for exploring remote areas. Sicilian hospitality is warm and welcoming, making every visitor feel at home.
