Notes

The latest pick-up time for the vehicle depends on the above-mentioned opening hours. If your flight arrives late, please inform the relevant car hire agency immediately - you will find the contact details on your Sicilissimo voucher.
Sicilissimo accepts no responsibility for problems with the vehicle pick-up if no notification is given in good time.
If the pick-up takes place after the office closes, the rental company may charge a surcharge if it confirms the late pick-up in advance.
Please have a credit card ready for the deposit on arrival. Debit cards such as ‘Bancomat’ or ‘Postepay’ as well as prepaid cards are not accepted.

Conditions for the hire car

Vehicle collection and return take place at the airport.

Included in the price:

Unlimited kilometres
22 percent VAT
Airport and administration fees amounting to 12 percent of the rental price
Insurance:
CDW (Collision Damage Waiver): Covers damage to the vehicle with an excess of 1,210 euros
TW (Theft Waiver): Covers (partial or total) theft or fire with an excess of €1,710

Services not expressly listed under ‘included in the price’
Fees for additional drivers
Surcharges for pick-up outside office hours
Fines and fuel costs - a deposit must be paid by credit card when picking up the vehicle
If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank, a service fee of approximately 12.50 euros will be charged in addition to the fuel refill
Comprehensive insurance without excess (own damage) can be added for 16.00 euros per day

Binding conditions:

A deposit will be blocked on your credit card on arrival at the rental station.
This will be refunded in full if the vehicle is returned undamaged and with a full tank of petrol.
If the vehicle is not returned with a full tank of petrol, a service fee of around 12.50 euros will be charged in addition to the full tank.
The rates quoted are valid for a minimum hire period of one day (24 hours).
The vehicle must be returned at the same time as it was picked up.
In the event of delays of more than 30 minutes, an additional rental day will be charged at the local rate and must be paid on the spot.
Drivers must be at least 25 years old and have held a driving licence for at least one year.
Drivers between the ages of 21 and 24 can hire for a surcharge of 21.00 euros per day (payable locally).
If the booked vehicle class is not available, a vehicle of equal or higher value will be provided.
Only the persons registered in the hire contract are authorised to drive the vehicle. Accidents caused by unregistered drivers are not insured.
The main driver must present a valid credit card and the original driving licence. Copies or lost licences will not be accepted. If your address is not stated on your driving licence, an additional valid identification document will be required.

Terms of use:

The maximum waiting time for vehicle collection is midnight. In the event of late arrival, the car hire company must be informed in good time.
No refund will be made if the hire car is not used or only partially used.
The car hire companies Europcar and Holiday Car Rental only accept the following debit cards, provided they are issued exclusively by banks: Visa Debit, Mastercard Debit and V-Pay.
Prepaid or electronic cards from the same payment networks are not accepted if they are not linked to the customer's bank account.

Important information on offers without a flight:

To ensure that your hire car is ready on arrival, please provide us with your flight details within 48 hours of booking using the form in your member account.
Without this information, the vehicle may not be available in time.

If you book a package that includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package that does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as an agent for the accommodation provider.
