Montirò Hotel boasts an enviable hilltop location, 2km from the pretty seaside town of Santa Maria di Leuca. From its elevated position you can glimpse the southernmost point of Puglia - "de finibus terræ" (“the end of the land.”)

The historic town showcases an abundance of architectural styles: the majestic nineteenth-century lighthouse, the Basilica of the Madonna de Finibus Terræ (a popular pilgrimage destination) and eclectic seaside villas in Moorish, Gothic, Arabic and Art-Nouveau style.

Leuca is the starting point of the Regional Nature Park, which extends over 8,000 acres, along 57 kilometres of coast. It encompasses the coast between Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca and the woods of Tricase. Active couples have plenty of opportunity to explore this landscape whether on foot, bike or horseback.

The waters of the Salento region offer ample enjoyment for sports enthusiasts too, whether its diving, sailing, or windsurfing. The region is famed for its caves, rocky inlets and overhanging cliffs which makes for spectacular scenery.

Situated in 12 acres of beautiful gardens, surrounded by a veritable sea of olive trees, the 4* Montirò Hotel offers seclusion, romance and rustic charm in equal measure.

Each of the 39 guest rooms have spectacular views of the countryside and the interiors are simply decorated in light, neutral colours creating a calming atmosphere.

An ample breakfast of local produce is served each morning, and there are many restaurants to explore in Santa Maria di Leuca for lunch and dinner. If the weather permits, enjoy the outdoor swimming pool.

A substantial breakfast buffet is served in the morning including baked products, jams, cakes and pies, croissants and other homemade delicacies. Your palate will be tempted also by savoury specialties, such as cheeses and “friselle” - bread rings seasoned with tomato, basil and extra-virgin olive oil. where you can start your mornings with a coffee on either a patio or terrace and take in the scenery.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.

The minimum age for driving a hire car in Italy is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel Documents —

Flight Inclusive Offers

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents.

We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
