Particularly important to the area is the regional wildlife reserve of "Portoselvaggio", a famous natural park with 400 hectares of pinewood forest known as one of the main 'Green Lungs' of Puglia, and seven kilometers of high quality, unpolluted coast.

The hotel, which is situated along the rocky coast of the Gulf of Gallipoli, provides a unique stay in the charming and picturesque village of Santa Maria al Bagno in Puglia.

The on-site restaurant at the Grand Hotel Riviera prides itself on attention to detail and providing a gastronomic experience par excellence. The restaurant is divided into two separate dining rooms - the Riviera room, equipped with a large terrace overlooking the sea, and the Calypso room.

Brunch is served from 7:30 - 14:30. Italian, international, and local 'Salentine' cuisine is served with the Ionian sea as a background in an elegant atmosphere. 

Dinner A La Carte is available from 19:30 in an intimate and elegant atmosphere. The ‘à la carte’ menu, includes the typical traditional dishes from Puglia accompanied by carefully selected fine wines. Dinner at the Grand Hotel Riviera is more than a meal, it is an experience. 

The Cloe Bar and the Panoramic Bar are also available for you to enjoy a drink and the soothing sounds of background music and the sea in an elegant atmosphere.

Your Time —

Just for you: Complimentary access to the private rocky beach (limited places & weather dependent).

Conveniently located directly in front of the hotel, guests can find a flat rocky shore to spend warm and sunny days sunbathing, swim in the cool refreshing water, or enjoy the view, reading a book or relaxing.

In addition, just 400 meters south of the Hotel, there is the beautiful sandy beach of Santa Maria al Bagno. A small white sandy beach which gently slopes towards the emerald water, it is easily accessibly by walking along the lovely seafront. Further North, approximately 800 meters, you will find the sandy beach of Santa Caterina.

If you prefer a swim in fresh water, all guests have at their disposal two seasonal outdoor swimming pools, where you can relax while relishing in the breathtaking view. 

Beach and pool are seasonal and weather dependent.

Flights: The flights included are with either a scheduled or no frills airline and are subject to live availability and prices can change. You can choose your preferred departure times during the booking process. Please select your flight options carefully as departure and arrival airports may differ.

Transfers: Private transfers can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee (for all offers). 

Car Hire: Car Hire can be added at the next stage of booking process for an additional fee (flight inclusive offers only).

Transfer distance between Bari airport and hotel is: 2 hr 16 minutes, 199 km.

Alternatively, guests may fly directly to Brindisi airport from 27 May. Distance is: 1 hr, 80 km.

Car Hire —

Please note you cannot be guaranteed a specific make of car within a certain group.
The minimum age for driving a hire car in Italy is 21 and drivers must have held a full driving licence for a least 1 year.

The lead name on the booking will be confirmed as the named driver.  The named driver must present a credit card in their name when collecting the car (credit cards in other names will not be accepted).

The named driver must also present a full valid driving licence on collection of the vehicle and in some cases a credit card or cash deposit will be required.

Please ensure that you check your car hire documents carefully once received as this will advise if there are any taxes/charges to be paid locally as well as potential mileage restrictions.

Your Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible.

The airline is ticketless and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website.

You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

If you have booked transfers, Meet & Greet, car hire or airport lounges, you will receive a separate voucher for each of these services. Please note that transfer vouchers are sent directly from the transfer supplier.
