Although we endeavour to provide up-to-date information, we cannot guarantee that all hotel facilities and services will be available during your stay, especially when travelling out of the main holiday periods.

Star rating standards may differ to that of the UK, depending on the country of travel.

Drivers must hold a valid driver's license for at least one year and must not have committed any serious traffic violations. If the driver's license is not written in the Roman alphabet (e.g., Arabic, Greek, Russian, or Chinese), an International Driving License (IDL) is required. The IDL must be accompanied by the driver's original license. An IDL is also required for all drivers residing in non-EU countries renting a vehicle in EU member states. This does not apply to members holding a UK licence, in which case only a UK driver's license is required.  

• Accepted Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express (Diners and debit cards are not accepted) 

• Rental Office Hours:    Florence - 8 am until 11pm daily,  Pisa - 8.30 am until 10pm  daily 

The Price Includes:  

• Roadside Assistance Service: In case of emergency, please call the contact number provided at the pickup location. The reception staff will provide all information regarding what is covered by the roadside assistance service. 

• Third Party Liability Insurance (RCA) 

• Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): No deductible. Applies to all authorized drivers and partially covers damage to the vehicle. The CDW is subject to the rental contract terms, which you will sign upon vehicle pickup. 

• Theft Protection (TP): Partial coverage against theft 

• Unlimited Mileage 

• Airport Surcharge: 16% (for rentals at an airport) 

• Railway Station Surcharge: 16% (for rentals at a train station) 

• Road Tax: €2 per day 

• Maximum Rental Duration: 30 days 

• VAT: 22% 

• Additional Driver 

The Price does not include: 

• Deposit by Vehicle Category: 

• Category E - J - L - O - U: €800 

• Damage Deductible by Vehicle Category: 

• Category E: €2,000 

• Theft Deductible by Vehicle Category:

• Fuel: Unless otherwise stated, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as when picked up.

  Any additional coverage can be subscribed to and purchased locally when picking up the vehicle. The cost may vary depending on the product chosen. Please consult reception staff. 

• Young Driver Surcharge: €15 per day for drivers aged 21-24 at the time of rental 

• Tolls, Parking Fees, Traffic Violation Fees 

• Refueling Service: €18 

• After-hours Pickup/Drop-off: €40 (€50 in Puglia), on request (with flight number and contact phone number of the person making the reservation) 

• Baby Seat: €35 per rental 

• Lost Keys: €250 

• Lost or Damaged GPS: €200 

• Fee for Each New Notification: €40 

• Accident Management Fee: €50 

• Anything not included in “The Price Includes”

Due to exchange rate fluctuations and possible bank fees, the car rental company cannot be held responsible for differences between the amount paid and the rental amount. 

Super Coverage 

Additional coverage by vehicle type: 

• Category B - C - E: €24 / day 

Includes: 

• 50% reduction in the security deposit required on arrival 

• Waives amounts due in case of damage, theft, fire, windshield damage, tire damage, interior damage, and vandalism. 

• In the event of partial or total theft or fire occurring in Campania, Puglia, Calabria, Catania, and its province, the client will be financially responsible for the reduced amount indicated: 

• €1,000 for Category B/C vehicles 

• €1,250 for Category E vehicles 

• €1,750 for Category J/L/U vehicles 

• €2,000 for Category S/Z vehicles 
  It is not valid if the driver's behavior is contrary to Article 1176 of the Civil Code. In any case, the driver cannot claim any liability limitation in the event of negligence, fraud, or gross negligence according to Article 1229 of the Civil Code. In all these cases, the client is fully responsible for the total cost of the vehicle. 

General Conditions:

General conditions are subject to change without notice. 

Rates are valid in Italy and cannot be considered part of loyalty programs. 

The fleet and models are subject to changes and updates without notice. 

The rental is considered extended until the vehicle is returned. 

The client must adhere to traffic regulations and use the vehicle with the care outlined in Article 1176 of the Civil Code. 

CDW, TP, and Super Coverage are not valid if the driver's behavior is contrary to Article 1176 of the Civil Code. In cases of negligence, fraud, or gross negligence, according to Article 1229 of the Civil Code, or in the event of lost vehicle keys. 

All clients must present a valid credit card in the driver's name for extras, insurance, deductible, and fuel. 

Important Notes: 

• GPS: Many providers no longer offer this equipment as many cars are equipped with Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Drivalia is one of them; no GPS is managed by the counter. 

• Fleet: Keep in mind that all models should be considered representative. 

Cancellation Policy: A reservation can be canceled free of charge up to 2 days before the scheduled departure time. Beyond this, the provider reserves the right to keep the full incurred costs. 

Important Note: If the main driver does not match the person who made the reservation, it is imperative to provide the driver's name and surname to the email address [email protected]. Additionally, the credit card must be in the main driver's name. Debit cards are not accepted. 

If you book a package that includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package that does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as an agent for the accommodation provider.
