3 night road trip
DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN RAPALLO
Arrive in Rapallo, one of the most charming towns on the Ligurian Riviera, with its picturesque promenade, seaside castle, and medieval streets brimming with shops and cafes. After settling into your hotel, enjoy a pleasant stroll along the seafront, admire the castle, and savour a coffee in one of the seaside bars.

DAY 2: CINQUE TERRE TOUR
After breakfast at the hotel, take the train (included) from Rapallo station towards the Cinque Terre. Next, you'll use the Cinque Terre Card to travel freely between the villages, famous for their colourful houses, spectacular panoramas, and breathtaking coastal paths: Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, and Monterosso al Mare.
- Riomaggiore: the first village, characterised by its old port and colourful alleyways.
- Manarola: a picturesque village, ideal for a romantic stroll along the Via dell'Amore (Love Lane).
- Corniglia: less touristy and more authentic, perched on a cliff with stunning views.
- Vernazza: one of the most charming, with its small beach and fish restaurants along the harbour.
- Monterosso al Mare: the only village with a sandy beach, perfect for relaxing or enjoying an aperitif overlooking the sea.
Explore the villages on foot, take the scenic paths between the cliffs, or stop for a typical Ligurian lunch, such as pasta with pesto or marinated anchovies. After the visit, return by train to your hotel in Rapallo.

DAY 3: GARDENS OF VILLA DURAZZO PALLAVICINI
After breakfast at the hotel, spend the morning at the Gardens of Villa Durazzo Pallavicini: this splendid 19th-century park is one of the most important historical gardens in Italy. Spanning approximately 8 hectares, it offers an immersive experience with its themed paths, water features, rare plants, and magnificent architecture. Don't miss the Temple of Flora, the artificial grotto, and the numerous sculptures and fountains. Then, take the afternoon to explore Rapallo.

DAY 4: PORTOFINO AND SESTRI LEVANTE, JOURNEY TO SANREMO
After breakfast, departure for Portofino by boat or bus, one of the most glamorous in Italy. You can stroll along the famous Piazzetta, visit Castello Brown for spectacular views of the gulf, or take a short hike to the Portofino lighthouse.
In the afternoon, depart independently for Sestri Levante, known for its magnificent Baia del Silenzio, one of Italy's most beautiful beaches. Wander through the historic centre, discover the colourful facades, and, if you wish, enjoy a swim in the bay. At the end of the day, depart for Sanremo. The journey takes approximately 2 hours by car (or train). Return to Rapallo in the evening and enjoy free time to relax.

DAY 5: LEISURE DAY IN SANREMO
After breakfast, explore Sanremo with a stroll along the famous Via Matteotti, the heart of shopping and high society. You can also visit the Sanremo Casino, one of the city's iconic landmarks. For dinner, discover one of the typical restaurants in the centre, renowned for its fish dishes.

For dinner, discover one of the typical restaurants in the city centre, renowned for its fish dishes.

DAYS 6-7: EXPLORING SANREMO AND THE SURROUNDING AREA
After breakfast, continue your exploration of Sanremo, starting with the San Siro Cathedral and the famous Flower Market, where you can admire a wide variety of local flowers and plants. Enjoy lunch on a terrace at one of the restaurants in the town centre.
In the afternoon, we recommend visiting the nearby medieval village of Dolceacqua, known for its Ponte Vecchio and the Doria Castle. Dolceacqua is also renowned for its Rossese wine, which you can taste in the local cellars.
