Just 30km away is Naples, often thought of as 'Real Italy' - loud boisterous, and impossible to ignore. Make use of the hotel's shuttle service and make a trip here to experience delicious pizza in its birthplace!
The chic clifftop town of Capri is worth a visit to experience some modern glamour. Historic archaeological sites Pompeii and Herculaneum are a short trip away.
Genoa is marvellously eclectic, vibrant and full of rough-edged style; it’s a great cruise excursion. During a day in this vibrant city you can explore its old town: a dense and fascinating warren of medieval alleyways home to large palazzi built in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries by Genoa’s wealthy mercantile families and now transformed into museums and art galleries.
Whether it's basking in the Mediterranean sunshine or being cooled by the famous Mistral wind France's second largest city and the capital of the Provence-Côte d'Azur region, is always a fascinating place to visit and a wonderful place for a leisurely lunch.

Cagliari, the largest island in Sardinia, has a wealth of places to explore. Meander through the Marina district, near the port, where you will find a bustle of arcaded streets with cafes and shops...a great place to sit and watch the world go by. Then make your way to the castle district, the oldest and highest part of the city, with a commanding view to boot.
With an unsurpassed collection of original Baroque architecture, fortified city walls overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, and the spectacular Co-Cathedral of St John, which features intricately carved stone vaults and a famed painting by Caravaggio, it is no wonder that this smallest of European capital cities is a world heritage site.
Located in northeastern Sicily on the slopes of the Peloritani Mountains, Messina is an ancient place with a fascinating history. Walk by the ruins of the Santa Maria Alemanna Church, built in 1220 A.D. You’ll also want to see the Duomo, a Romanesque and Norman cathedral that includes a display of artifacts in its treasury.
