Your Hotel —

Nestled in the heart of Tuscany between the hills of Chianti and the Arno valley, the Villa Sassolini is the ideal destination for a truly authentic break. This 15th century country house, which previously served as a holiday home for the Florentine aristocracy, boasts a rustic style which has been revisited with modern and contemporary furniture, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Sleep

The rooms and suites at the Villa Sassolini all boast plenty of space. The minimalist decor features ceilings with exposed beams, natural textures and neutral colours, offering all the comfort you need for an unforgettable stay!

- Classic Piazza Gardeschi Room (20 m² / max 2 persons): These rooms are the perfect choice for a romantic getaway, offering breathtaking views of the valley surrounding the hotel.

- Deluxe Room (35 m² / max 2 persons): These soothing rooms offer the perfect setting for guests to re-energise. Some of the rooms offer a view of the village of Moncioni, whilst others offer a view of the hotel garden.

- Junior Suite (42 m² / max 2 persons): The elegant and spacious Junior Suites feature sofas and armchairs, offering plenty of comfort.

- Suite (45 m² / max 2 persons): The Suites feature a lounge area where guests can relax after a long day of exploring.

- Family Suite (60 m² / max 4 persons): The Family Suite boasts two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one of which includes a bath tub with a massage feature), and a view of the village and mountains, making it the perfect choice for a family getaway.

Please note: the bed for the 3rd/4th guest sharing is likely to be a sofa bed or camp style bed.

Taste

Italy is renowned for its cuisine, which is full of treasures for gourmet food lovers to enjoy. The hotel restaurant offers typical regional dishes prepared using locally sourced ingredients, and a wine menu featuring fine Italian wines, some of which are produced in the hotel itself. For the perfect start to your holiday, you will be treated to a welcome drink upon arrival (per person and per stay), and you will also enjoy a 15% discount on meals at the restaurant (excluding alcoholic drinks, see terms and conditions upon arrival).

Experience

For a truly Italian experience, the Villa Sassolini offers cooking classes. Make the most of your stay in the Chianti region to visit the surrounding towns and villages and discover local wines. A Spa is also available for your enjoyment: unwind in the sauna, Turkish baths, pool and jacuzzi during your stay.

- "Montevarchi Terranuova" station is located approximately 12 minutes drive away from the hotel (8km).

By plane:
- If you book a flight through our website, you will be arriving at Florence Airport, which is located approximately 70 km away from the hotel.

Other nearby airports:
- Siena Airport, located approximately 67 km away from the hotel.

Contract —

If you book a package which includes flights, your contract will be with Voyage Privé. The air holiday package(s) shown are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is 10170.

If you book a package which does not include flights, then ATOL protection does not apply. Your contract will be with the provider of the accommodation and not Voyage Privé. Voyage Privé acts only as agent for the accommodation provider.

Travel documents —

You will receive an email confirming your booking within the next 48 hours. Please check all details on this confirmation are correct. If there are any discrepancies, please notify us as soon as possible. 

Accommodation Only:
You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Flight Inclusive Offers
The airline is ticket-less and therefore, you will not receive any hard copy documents. You will however, receive an email from us detailing your flight information and reference number to enable you to manage your booking online via the airline website. You will also receive an accommodation voucher for presentation at the hotel reception at point of check-in.

Please do make sure that you either add Voyage Privé to your Safe Senders list or check your Junk mail regularly for your travel documents. We will send all documents out as early as possible (subject to full payment being received) but you should receive all your documentation at least 10 days prior to departure.
