You will spend 3 nights in Tuscany and 2 nights in Liguria.

 

Day 1: Montecatini Terme

Arrive at your hotel in Montecatini Terme, where the therapeutic thermal waters and wellness resorts of this spa town are bound to make you feel truly relaxed. The town also boasts elegant Art Nouveau architecture, lush gardens, and picturesque squares.

Day 2: Pisa

 Visit the city of Pisa, famous for its Leaning Tower and Piazza dei Miracoli. Climb the 294 steps of the bell tower for a spectacular view of the city.

 

In the afternoon, be sure to stop in the captivating walled city of Lucca, known for its well-preserved Renaissance walls that encircle its historic centre.

Day 3: Florence

Devote the day to Florence and visit the Piazza della Signoria, the Ponte Vecchio the old bridge over the River Arno and the magnificent Cathedral of Santa Maria Novella.

Day 4: Montecatini Terme

Spend some time at Montecatini Alto, a hamlet of Montecatini Terme, situated at the top of a hill almost 300 metres above sea level.

 

Take a trip on the Montecatini Terme funicular, inaugurated in 1898, which will give you the chance to admire the entire Montecatini valley from above.

Day 5: Liguria

 

Arrive at the hotel and enjoy free time to visit to the typical places of Liguria - the beautiful medieval town of Sarzana and the coastal villages of Lerici, Tellaro and Fiascherino.

 

In the evening, head to the beautiful coastal town of Portovenere, an ancient fortified town and once a stronghold of the Maritime Republic of Genoa.

Day 6: Portovenere

Discover the secrets of Portovenere, La Spezia and the Gulf of Poets by panoramic bus. Visit Lerici, once a stronghold of the maritime republic of Pisa, and a 12th-century castle in Portovenere.

 

Find the beautiful church of San Pietro on a cliff overlooking the sea opposite the lush island of Palmaria the old village with the little streets called "carruggi".

Day 7: Cinque Terre

The famous Cinque Terre is made up of five colourful fishing villages perched on rugged cliffs overlooking the Ligurian Sea.

 

Savour fresh seafood with regional wine in Riomaggiore then admire the iconic pastel-coloured buildings that cascade down the cliffside and explore the picturesque harbour area of Manarola.

 

After reaching Vernazza, soak up the lively coastal atmosphere and indulge in the local gastronomy at cosy trattorias.

For all non-flight bookings, customers must inform us of the airport and time at which they wish to collect the vehicle within 48 hours of booking by filling in the dedicated form in their member account. The car reservation will be in the name of the person who made the reservation and the credit card must be in the same name.
The reservation is valid up to one hour after the time indicated on the voucher, except in the case of a delayed flight.
After office closing time, customers will be charged 40 euros.

 

Cancellation:

Cancellation of a reservation by VPG: VPG may cancel a reservation, free of charge, up to 2 days before the customer's scheduled arrival date. If this time limit is not respected, the following rules will apply: VPG will be billed for 100% of the amount of the reservation.

In any event, when, prior to departure, compliance with one of the essential elements of the trip is made impossible due to an external event affecting the Customer, VPG or the supplier, the Customer will allow VPG to cancel the reservation without charge.

Fuel is the responsibility of the driver, who must return the vehicle with the original fuel level.
